Thank you for all these great videos😁 I have a 1975 1500 I am currently restoring. Without your channel I literally wouldn’t of even thought I could get it to, talk. I grew up OMC/Johnson/Evinrude this is my first Merc ever.🙃
When i bought my cv-16 Glastron in 1974, I wanted to buy a xls-150 short shaft with the exhaust tubes ,but because the boat was only rated for a 125 they would not sell it to me. I settled for the 115 still have the boat… 49 years now ! Hope all is going good for you! 👍🙋♂️🖖🏻
Awesome video buddy deckles are a lot of work. I’ve put a couple on and it always seems to be a struggle. I guess the key is lining it up first perfectly before pushing them on once they are down there permanent lol. Looks like you did an amazing job!!!
If your looking for any inline mercurys my dads best friend is looking to sale out. I’m not sure what all he has but I know there’s several 115s and a 140. We’re out of Parkersburg WV 4:50
@The Like Button Just got mine running yesterday. Posted a 10 sec video a few minutes ago. 24p prop on a 16' 1969 s Sidewinder. Should still rip pretty good even without the red hockey 🏒
@ChainGang saws I need a new coil for mine, it runs but Intermittently rough. And you can physically hear the coil grounding off the block, on its way out. Got it on a 76 checkmate trimate, factory set up for now, but plan to get it close to 65-70 mph once restored.
Thank you for making these videos, I acquired a 1977 1500xs three years ago and have learned so much from your channel!

Buy the supplies and I'll paint it for free! I'm no expert, but I've done it already. Just give me a ride in it!

I'm poor right now lol. House burnt down a few weeks ago. I'd like to get bucket seats my friend.
What's the difference from an xs 1500 and a regular 1500?
5 hp and cool decals
@@thelikebutton4405 They do have sweet decals. I have the regular 1500 myself.
@ChainGang saws same here. But I very much prefer the red hockey sticks over the blue.
