tbh im pretty sure the end of ep 2 is gonna end off with the line Walker taked about in the Teen Vogue interview where he was like "so when/where do we start" (dont quote me lol) because he and Leah and Aryan hinted that was gonna be the big finale to an episode. also if ur familiar with The Last Of Us TV show on HBO, I believe Rick might go a similar route with PJO, with adding little bits/characters/storylines but still keeping true to the original source material. As we saw with TLOU we got the addition of the Bill/Frank storyline in episode 3, Kathleen in Kansas, more Henry/Sam content in ep 5 and the cold opens that enhanced the storyline. That adaptation worked very well and I think Rick will draw inspiration to it as HBO did an amazing job and he wants PJO to live up to the "Good Book/Game to Movie/TV Show Adaptations". But anyways great vid, I always look forward to PJO content from you
Yeah one of the limitations of the Books is that they’re all within Percy’s POV, so in order develop our antagonists and other characters Percy can’t directly speak to we have to constantly have Percy dream about them. Which is something I don’t think the show’s gonna have deal with.
Agree with pretty much all you said, except I feel they could definitely stretch the underworld stuff out for a full episode and have the Ares fight be in the finale. Could break the tension a bit if they’ve already had that fight and there’s a full episode left to get the bolt back. So excited to see the show!!!!
I didn't know the episode titles got revealed but i know now I'm glad im subbed to this channel to get all the Percy Jackson news and updates 🙌🌊, oh also are you possibly gonna do are review of all the episodes as they come out weekly ?
Just re-listened to the lightning thief cause Spotify premium added books! Very excited to see how Rick and the team do this adaptation I can’t wait. Thanks for your coverage :)
based on all the interviews ive seen w steinberg and co they're definitely adding things and changing some things around to service the narrative and the themes. They know what they're doing i have faith in them, provided they have a good relationship w the people calling the shots which i hope they do
i think they might not do the water beds part (with procrustes? is that how his name's spelled?). i always thought it was a bit unnecessary in the book, but maybe they will keep it to get the pacing right
Theres actually a new short trailer from Best Movies that shows a bunch of extended scenes like grover getting dragged towards Tartarus and Percy being claimed.

I kinda find it funny that a professional wrestler is going to be defeated in a sword fight by a twelve year old what do you think
Maybe I’ll reread the lightning thief now
Yeah, you should! So do I. Twice!
Super easy and quick read tbh!
I just did last night 😂
For me, I think episode three is my most anticipated, the medusa sequence was incredible in the books and I can’t wait to see it in the show❤
So yeah girl another video is needed cuz they just released a tv spot with more footage
They won’t let me REST!😭
I hear that we will be getting Annabeth and Grover and Luke backstory
I think if they get rid of anything from the books, it’ll be the waterbed store. That might be a little traumatic for kids in live action
I also feel like they will not include that scene
And also a bit unnecessary. It's the most fillery part of the entire book
They’ve mentioned it in an interview so it will be in there.
@@noemiecansier8466 really? I‘m excited then
Can't wait! Love the titles as chapters and the splits between episodes.

Yes that’s the plan!!

Hopefully No “Epic Final Battle” between Luke And Percy like in the movie that was dumb 🤞 😂😂😂
I remember the minotaur just taking his mom I don't remember her dying
Hades took and like gave her back to Percy after the whole thing with the bolt was over.
Love your Percy Jackson videos.

Ironically this is almost exactly how I would of wrote the show and included in each episode!!
Are you gonna do another video analysis on the other trailer/clips that were released after the season 1 titles were released??
Probably not because it was only about 15 seconds of footage! I might if they do another one and I’ll combine them into one video
Theres actually a new short trailer from Best Movies that shows a bunch of extended scenes like grover getting dragged towards Tartarus and Percy being claimed.
Do you think there will be any chapters or things they leave out?
If I had to pick something for them to leave out I would probably drop the water beds part of the story
