- Snorkeling in La Jolla Cove, San Diego, CA on the weekend of March 9, 10 2024. There are tons of Garibaldi and Sea Bass, as well as a couple of California Sheephead and dozens of Horn Sharks! Towards the end of the video is a huge Starfish, which is the first I've ever seen in all my years snorkeling here. Of course the Sea Lions make their appearance in the video as well.

I’m currently staying in La Jolla and am going to do this today!
@@gb0ng have fun! I went out there yesterday and visibility was poor, but the water was warm so it was still a good time.
@@JasonEliasHorvath there wasn’t the best visibility. I didn’t get the best shots, but there were a LOT of creatures ! I even Saw a pufferfish!!! I can now check snorkeling in La Jolla off my bucket list
@@gb0ng wow I’ve snorkeled here for years and never seen a puffer fish in La Jolla Cove! I’ve seen them snorkeling other places, so I’m less jealous than I would have been! Very cool for you!
We're you just off the shore or did you swim to the caves? About how far off the shore were you? My family is going soon and I wanted to know what we could see if we just snorkel off of the beach.
@@candice2968 sorry I didn’t notice your comment. I always enter the water at the cove and usually swim out and to the right toward the caves. You can see plenty if you stay in the cove proper.
