I know you posted this a while back but yes I agree this is such a great comic/graphic novel! I really like Andrea (favorite character) and that was such a miss on the tv show.
I was introduced to the zombie apocalypse world when I was in high school through a game called Blackops II It was too popular I didn’t understand why (it’s never ending killing cycle meh) and I just and never wanted to read or watch anything that has to do with zombie Years passed bye a friend of mine suggested that I play the walking dead game My understanding the post apocalyptic world has changed for ever I really liked the set of the world the characters and the interaction and decisions they had to make And it became one of my favorite games (story lol) I’ve heard that the story of the comics is over After this video i think I know what I’m going to do

I read up until issue 120ish and lost interest waiting every month but I got into the book because of the show. The show was awesome even if it was different for the first four seasons and then after that just starting dragging its feet and got boring and forgot what character development was. But the comic from what I read was so high quality. Just got back into reading it and gonna finish it
This is the video that inspired me to read The Walking Dead. I just finished it… holy.. One of the best experiences of my life. Getting Here’s Negan and Rick Grimes 2000 today
Thanks for the review. I was thinking recently about reading this "saga", but I'm kinda perfectionist type, so gathering over 200 issues could have been troubling... And I was wondering if it would be comfortable enough to read this on Kindle, I mean there are no colors, so it's not a big deal I guess...
You can buy them in these volumes or the compendiums which would make it very easy to get the entire thing. It's worth it. I'm still affected by the ending.
I never read TWD comics because of the tv series. I wasn’t a fan of it. I never finished it. Only recently did I read the first volume and I was hooked. The comic is excellent. I now understand why it’s so highly regarded on most “must read” comic book lists.
@@BritishInvasion91 that's surprising, I always assumed he was still in Georgia, that's a 7 hour drive. I guess that explains why he had to get some gas so soon. Thanks for this new fact. Although if he came from Kentucky in the comics, he shouldn't have came from the bridge on interstate 85 because that would mean he's coming from south of Atlanta, but now am just nit picking.
@@dapenguin1495 I mainly only read superhero comics haha. I do recommend Invincible though, it IS a superhero comic but it's written by Robert Kirkman as well. So you just know the story is good. But...it is definitely very superhero-ey. I am working on an independent comic book that is not a superhero story. It's a few years away from being done, though.
At least Robert Kirkman ended the comic before the wokeness got to bad. However just like with Scooby Doo the wokeness is creeping into the series starting with the Tangerine comic.

Was a great read and absolutely loved the whole thing! ...I just WISHED the conclusions of characters such as Negan, Jesus, Princess etc were more fleshed out. And the impact of the death of Rick Grimes was glossed over WAY too quickly!! Surely negan found out? What was his reaction!? I was sure Negan would be effected by this somewhat and would have loved to see his take on it! I have other gripes with the ending but I’m not all that mad, the comic ended on a brilliant note so I honestly can’t complain too much but those are just some of the things I wish I saw. Overall, I’ll give the whole story a 8.5/10. Really engaging and just amazing read. My favourite character has to be Negan. Also, Glenn and Abraham’s death pissed me the hell off. Anyway Yh! Do a spoiler review please!!!
You can buy individual issues, volumes (which are the ones shown here) or compendiums which, I believe, each have half of the complete series. I recommend these volumes. It's easier to spread the cost out, and buying the issues individually would get annoying and probably expensive. I think the volumes are the best way.

Loved the video, I will definitely read the comics. I'm really into manga (basically Japanese comics) and if you like TWD I would recommend you to read a manga called I Am A Hero. Trust me its worth it! its kinda slow paced but its amazing. Hope you read it.

I'm gonna get compendium 1 but comics honestly aren't really my thing, I always mix up which panels to read
If u get em digitally, it will go panel by panel so u don't get em mixed up

The comic is so much better than the show. You'll enjoy it. I've read the first bit of Scott Pilgrim, not tons of it but some.

I just bought them all from different sellers on ebay. I've seen them in comic shops too but I'd just look online.
