Man, that play at 01:01 was just slight hesi and then a ball fake, totally legal! The ref had been hating on AI since day one.

I literally came to the comments to see if anybody saw that Iverson did not walk on that play they’ve been hating since day one and he is the only player in the history of the game that a referee has come out to say they bet against him And card fake calls knowingly to cheat against him
Yep In todays nba that would be completely fine. They stretch they move even more egregiously now
Man this video showed one of derrick Coleman's best games too. He could have been one of the best power forwards if he had any motivation or ambition. Too bad he was lazy as hell.

it would be a great finals series if these two teams faced each other... sadly the Bulls and Jazz were the dominant teams of the 97/98 season... but what if these two teams faced each other in the finals i really agree that it would be one of the greatest matchups ever bcoz theyre equally matched up from point guard to center... like Payton vs AI and Kemp vs Coleman and list goes on... both teams are fun to watch...not to mention Seattle and Philly had the most amazing crowd like the noise and all that shit is just pure energy... it would one hell of a series if it did happen

There was an AI dunk after the whistle in his rookie year, I think was from this game but I’m not sure. Been tryna find it for years now...100% sure it was from rookie year

Number 1 & 2 pics in the 1996 draft: DC & GP! I could never get into Iverson, he was a ball hog and carried the ball. GP on the other hand was a phenomenal guard on both ends of the floor.
Gary Payton aka the glove was known as a defensive stopper, however against Iverson like all other defensive stoppers at the was of non effect against Iverson
Not so sure, at least in this game. I think both scored about the same amount of points here and in the previous match up of that season, Payton out played Iverson. This one was more even. Both were elite players during this time.
