This song and other 80s MTV era ZZ Top with pulsing synths 5:16 was fun 80s cheese, but lacks the soul and grit of their 70s stuff. They’re pretty different things. Their concerts in the 80s and 90s were fun arena rock shows. The earlier work just hits different.
