This is OP from the second story. Rslash, that was always something my mother and I wondered when we think back at that time. I have a feeling that it was his way of trying to intimidate the other neighbors. I just refused to be intimidated and controlled by him. Also to those that wondered if my mom is okay. Yes, she got some help in dealing with her anxiety issues, there are times that she gets concerned if leaving the house. She usually talks/questions to me if everything will be okay, and I reassure her that it will be. Thank you Rslash for reading my Reddit post. I just hope that if anyone else is ever in such a situation, you can make a difference by standing up for your family, sometimes it just takes a bit of research on how to do it.

“The lesson? Don’t screw with a war vet.” So true. My cousins grandpa was a Swedish mercenary, fighting for the Allies. One day, I was at this house and a couple of jock teens decided to throw rocks at his window. His response? He got his old Model 27 revolver, which he used in the war, went down to the teens and aimed it at them from his hip. The gun had no bullets, of course. He just wanted to scare them. It worked, because the second those jocks saw the revolver, they started screaming like little girls who just watched ‘Boku No Pico’ and ran away. They even left their motorcycles whilst running!🤣 Understandably, they didn’t come back to get them.
Whether your cousins grandpa still lives or not I recommend you get that Model 27 ready and cleaned proper, the way things are fixing up in there you'll soon have the whole country dancing to the tune of Södertälje and Rosengård. This eventuality serves y'all right though, one reaps what sows after all.

This is why you don't eff with WWII veterans. They are goddamn savage. They fought ACTUAL Nazis. Not the kind people imagine when someone disagrees with them on Twitter.
The nazis in ww2 were someone's neighbors and would have been talking the same trash on twitter today. No different than the skinheads running around now. Get some reading done son.
Big Mouth Prick nope, the nazis were in their country, yes, but they weren’t just mouthing off to ppl, theres a huge difference between nazis and the ppl think of as nazis
Just adding a note on German WWII vets here. 30 years ago, I was an exchange student for a year in Germany. The father of one family I lived with was a WWII veteran who literally lost an arm and a leg in combat. It was so strange, as my family fought on the Allied side of course. Not excusing his actions, but he had been a young man pressed into service for his nation and he did pay a heavy price. Never forget that evil can win when good men and women see injustice and choose to remain silent.
I can confirm, dont mess with WW2 vets. My grandfather, while I never saw him angry and he was a great passive guy, was a damn tank. At the age of 92 he was in the bathroom when a medicine cabinet above the toilet fell (it was full btw) and the corner hit him square on the head gashing it open. This absolute unit got up, put a bandaid on it, and resumed his day. It wasnt until 3 hours later when my uncle got home, saw his head bleeding and rushed him to the ER. IIRC because this happened a few years ago it was like 13 staples and quite a few stitches to patch him up. He was completely fine after that, but sadly he passed due to deteriorating health and complications.
Yes, I couldn't and wouldn't even live in such a place either. If you loathe the beasts yet still live in a place infested with them why give yourself extra grief by living there?

They wouldn't have said WWII vet if he were a veterinarian. My father was a WWII veteran and my mother worked in a airplane factory installing hydrolic brake lines. I heard some of the stories growing up, but most people didn't/couldn't talk about what they saw - horrific.l

Just a tip to guys who walk out on "entitled be-atches" as in the first story: Please make sure, at least, to tip your server on the side. While they aren't responsible if someone walks out on a check, they definitely loose out on the tip. It's not his/her fault that "young Karen" uses people like this. I bet that first girl stiffed the hibachi waiter/ress. Just an FYI.
Stacy Thomas or just move to Australia or somewhere else that pays enough of a wage to actually survive off without the help of random strangers’ kindness.
@@that_guy_pal Well you actually usually get paid pretty well in the US if it is your primary source of income, it is just that most people who do waiting are only doing it part time because they are training or in schooling for a higher paying job, and most have figured out that by employers paying less and waiters relying on tips, you can circumvent higher taxes. I never quite understood why people think waiters are on the verge of poverty, they either never have done the job or don't understand how the game is played. That is why people will snag up the theoretically below minimum wage slots of waiting, even if higher paying jobs like retail are available.

I lost my grandpa a couple years ago, and that story reminds me a LOT of him. He changed his will similarly to give more to my mom (his daughter in law) instead of my dad, as he constantly would spend my moms money on beer and cigarettes for himself. My grandpa was also a vet, a double vet in fact. Veteran and later on became a veterinarian. Towards the end of his life, my mom was always there for him, doing whatever he needed done, from helping him in the bath, to popping pimples on his butt (my mom has some horror stories.) One day he sat her down and asked her if she believe my dad would take care of her if he gave my dad the inheritence, she genuinely believed he wouldnt, and he changed his will to give my mom half, and his daughter half, my dad got nothing. My mom , being the good person she is, bought my dad the house he wanted, and has sent him a little less than half of what she got, and we're all living comfortabley with it. My aunt on the other hand who got half of it, with nobody to split it with, had some major r/entitledparent and r/assholetax stories along with it. She was a joint owner of one of my grandpas bank accounts (she took care of bills, taxes, etc, but it was all his money in the account. Before he died he told her that money was to go towards any expenses that needed to be paid regarding his death, property, etc. We ended up paying around 20k on roll offs and services to clean up our property before selling it, she kept all of it for herself. The lawyer who was in charge of dealing with the inheritence and everything also happened to be my aunts godchild, a very close friend of her daughter, who a couple years before took her own life. I absolutely genuinely believe she was heartbroken, its a horrible thing to lose your daughter in such a way, but boy did she use that fact to get pity and justify getting so much more money. There was a time she was bragging to my dad about how much money my grandmas old china and cutlery was, which just so happened to be around the price of his truck that my mom ended up taking. She had been saying the price of the truck should be taken out of my moms inherience but after admitting that, she dropped it lmao. r/assholetax
Hey, I don't really know legal stuff, but I feel like OP should've been able to sue the neighbor for emotional damages on his mom's behalf. Am I wrong?
I will say. One of my husband's relatives lives in an upscale apartment complex, and they are LOADED. They do this because the maintenance is taken care of, snow removal is taken care of and there are always people around to keep an eye on their place when they leave out of town on business.
Omg the dog one is literally my mom. I live in a house in a neighbourhood which is dog friendly like most are. My neighbours have a dog and like to dog sit a lot. Idk if she genuinely does not know if there's no law saying that the dogs have to be quiet but she gets very very angry at the neighbours. They "interrupt her naps" and all of that. I can't really hear anything from them and if I do, it's just a dog that's very excited. Literally like 2 min of Barking and it's done. Nothings actually happened but the story just reminded me of this
This old man at the end is a TRUE hero and a human I can respect, and that's saying something since I had hate humanity in general for a long while now.
Story 2: More like r/legalrevenge, huh? Story 3: Hm. I read something similar to this where some old man was dying gave more money to a kind caretaker than the entitled family members. One part of the will that was later revealed said "Don't try suing him, or your share is revoked!" If this was a movie, I would imagine the vet in this being played by Ed Asner.
The story about OP's mom getting anxiety and becoming somewhat housebound over it really got to me and I do wish her all the best, now while not reddit I would like to share a bit of my childhood just so that people on here who don't understand how OP's mom fealt can begin to understand it better. (before I start I would like to mention that I am Irish and school is labelled as primary and secondary school so I am not too familiar with how it is in the US or other countries so if you get confused please feel free to ask questions and I will try my best to answer them) Now my childhood during primary (so from around 6-12) was fine and not much happened but when it got to secondary school crap hit the fan real hard, it all started at the first day of school during assembly where this kid (who I will call Ben for privacy reasons) sat next to me and tried to start a conversation with me, I declined because I wanted to figure out the curriculum, which classes I would be attending etc. He was upset by this for some reason but I shrugged it off and forgot about him for the rest of the day. Fast forward a few months and stuff started happening, at first it was small things (like him getting his friends to insult me or "accidentally" bump into me etc.) but then slowly the whole school turned against me teachers and all. The first real moment I realised this was at lunch, someone decided it would be funny to throw a rock wrapped with tinfoil around it at me and when I turned around to see who did it they all just laughed and resorted to name calling again, this happened on and off for a while with no help from the teachers whatsoever and not even the principle as Ben's parents where close friends of hers so that basically gave him free reign to let him and his gang of friends do what they like. Mom (R.I.P) could not help either as she was unable to get through to the principle (she constantly made excuses that she was busy with schoolwork or that someone in her family needed her help) and I couldn't droupout either as this was the only school she was able to afford so our hands were basically tied. (it goes on like this for half a year so I'll skip ahead to when I finally decided to leave) Yet again it was the cafeteria when crap decided to hit the fan again and yet again it was Ben who riled up another student to harass me, this time he made some rumor saying something alomg the lines of "I hated the travelling community" now this whole thing started weeks before I knew and I'm pretty sure he got the idea because we were doing Irish culture and travellers where one of the communities we had to learn about, well as soon as his friend heard that he stormed over to me acting tough and saying "that my whore of a mother could hadly dress me so I had no right to talk about his family like that", (now while that is true that she was not getting that much money to look after me we were all wearing the same uniform so I had no clue what he was on about) naturally I was both confused and upset about the whole thing and got up to leave and was about to call my mom to let her know the situation, people started forming a circle around me and him and my phone was stolen from me by one of the kids (teachers looking all the while), now I can't remember everything detail but I do remember saying something along the lines of "f this I just want to leave why is this crap happening to me" when he punched me full force in the back of the head, I turned around shocked and fit to cry (much to the amusement of those watching) and tried pushing my way out with no success, eventually I got tired of screaming at him and just went for it, (not sure what I did to him but all I remember is going to attack him, blacking out then suddenly being at home like nothing happened, apparently he ended up in hospital and I was told by the school not to attend again and have never been able to attend social events or any form of schooling since even though I moved counties and know they can't get me anymore.
Wait what? So what you are saying is that because you defended yourself, the campus suddenly banned you from getting education? You should sue the school or something. I know there are lawyers who would gladly help you thats clearly (for me) retaliation.

XD hahahahaha. I'm laughing at the WWII vet story. The guy sounds like a real legend. I got a friend who also served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam where she was wounded, and this sounds like something she'd do to get back at some greedy family members. She always tells stories about the war, the combat, the battles, the hero's, all the good stuff, and she doesn't let all the horrors shed seen color her judgment of humanity or life. She will, however, get real annoyed and go into, as she calls it, Commander mode, where she will raise her voice, not shout but still, tell you to sit down and shut up in no uncertain terms. Best word of advice, don't mess with a war vet.

“The lesson? Don’t screw with a war vet.”
So true.
They even left their motorcycles whilst running!🤣
Understandably, they didn’t come back to get them.
Whether your cousins grandpa still lives or not I recommend you get that Model 27 ready and cleaned proper, the way things are fixing up in there you'll soon have the whole country dancing to the tune of Södertälje and Rosengård. If yo live somewhere like NYC you are only going to have apartments to live in.... really tiny really expensive apartments. they are idiots, because when you accept,(and you accept automatically if you dont get a lawyer to say that you do not accept because of sertain reasons) you need to pay a "fee" to collect the inheritance.... that fee most of the times for that low sum,is exactly 0.01 euros, removed automatically from the inheritance.

Omg the dog one is literally my mom. I live in a house in a neighbourhood which is dog friendly like most are. My neighbours have a dog and like to dog sit a lot.

It’s a nightmare. My situation is still ongoing, three years strong so far. The “System” does very little to protect people from power-hungry people like this. It’s really messed up.
OP should have messaged her back with a few shrug emoji's and, "A boy's gotta eat."
I salute Haj and his Pro Revenge. My grandad was in the RAF too (Royal Air Force) but served after the war
Best story of them all
Haj telling them not to move in: do not tango with the rango
Cousin moving in: I tangoed with the rango
Haj: unfortunately I have calculated over 1 trillion outcomes and unfortunately for you, you have activated my trap card of debt
17:52 "Anyone who fought the Nazis is not someone I want to get tangled with." That mainly applies to the Soviets, those guys were more ruthless than the SS when Order 227 was issued.
Entitled family: we NEED the house
Communist Russia: plays anthem
that army vet is as badass in dead as he was in life... and he punished them from in his grave so i guess you could say hes more alive than ever XD
Ngl, I cried heard the ww2 veteran died...
R.I.P Haj, the brave hero that fight the fierce war in the history
All of my respect goes for Haj! The RAF were pretty much on the front lines during the main years of WWII with very little support from anyone else. It was similar to the Spartans holding their own with just 300, except playing out in the sky! It’s sad that his in laws were like that but I’m glad he had relatives he was close to.
Love ur videos because I love how almost all entitled parents loose their so called battles
Bless all of those young men who stormed Normandy. They will be rightfully glorified for generations to come.
Man, families... Yeah, they'd fight for every little thing. I know that too well. If I ever get rich enough, I'll definitely pull this stunt on arseholes that would go crazy over money. Most likely will leave a lot to my nephew anyway... he's a great kid. I hope he grows up well like the good ones in OP's family.
RIP Haj. You showed how justice should be served. Respect.
One view, one like. This is the first time RUclips has made any sense...
Tomas Marshall for me now it’s 136 views and 140 likes
@@Sotricles1 1.6k views 255 likes. i think Tomas Jinxed it.
Any old person, if they fought against Nazis or what, are always the destroyer of the worst people.
May Haj rest in peace knowing that he destroyed his bad family (only the bad ones) like how he destroyed Nazis.
When RSlash makes the smug voice:
*Why do I hear boss music?*
One of my favourite reddit stories ever. I’m honored to have existed on the same planet as Haj. Rest in peace, legend.
I like this WWII vet, he's very good wished I had him as a grandfather or a relative to teach me things and help me :v
Hey! You do what you have to do to protect your fur babies! They are family! Good for you! Two thumbs up for your actions!
"Welcome to r/Pro Revenge where a military vet gets revenge from beyond the grave... I've really liked this girl-"
Hold up a sec... That honestly confused me for a second there
WOW he really big brained on them, I salute to this guy.
