It'll be so much less fun watching the rest of the season now. I was so excited to see Manila every week. She is so innovative and inspired with her looks. And a phenomenal actress, had me laughing so hard during Snatch Game. Naomi's decision made me really sad. But thank you Manila for competing again and sharing your talents with the world.
I know right. The new episode airs today and i'm not even a little bit excited :/ And the sad thing is: Manila's elimination will always overshadow the AS4 winner, just like Bendela's self elimination and that jury bullshit overshadow Trixie's win, and that sucks cuz, even though Manila absolutely slayed the game Trinity had the same amount of wins, Monet just caught up and Monique isn't that far behind. So like it's not an AS3 situation where 2 clear winner's who were eliminated for the third best to win, because Trinity, Monet and Monique also had good chances of winning the crown, but whoever wins now will always hear that Manila was robbed and the true winner of the season. That is especially sad for Trinity who has been saying from the start that she wants to compete and win against the best.
I think in general, Season 3 was the was the hardest season in terms of challenges and also strong competitors. However, I wouldn't compare All Stars to the normal seasons because All Stars already has predetermined, strong competitors and since the judges know the queens already, they expect nothing less than 100%.
Season 3 had crazy sewing challenges! They had them making gowns out of money and hair and anything they could find. they actually had to be creative. Then 30 minutes before the runway there was always a twist. "Oh you've almost finished the three looks we asked you to create? Now I need you to make another one using 2 bath mats, a glue stick and some floss with one hand behind your back. Good luck!"
It just makes me disappointed she won 3 times and had never been in the bottom Latrice had ANOTHER chance and won once. That and how amazing Manila is I just wanted her to be in that final lip sync against trinity

U do know that Latrice only won with the dress that production gave her to wear. Think about it? Bottom line is, if you're a competitor who's afraid of going head-to-head with anyone, your days are already numbered. Naomi eliminated Manila because she knew she could never best her in direct competition, and that's not a winner. Could you imagine any of the previous Winners showing that kind of cowardice? Bebe, Tyra, Raja, Sharon, Jinkx, Bianca, Violet, Bob, Sasha, and Aquaria never showed any fear when it came to their competition, and that's why they were crowned... Naomi Smalls just proved that she ain't it.
THAT'S THE GAME!!! They don't eliminate each other in regular seasons and Sasha won with a surprise twist (I love Sasha, but season 9 was Shea's by score card). Sasha won, not because of her score card (Shea and Trinity had better ones) but because she seized the opportunity the lip sync showdown twist gave her. Naomi is doing the same thing as did Alaska in Season 2.

Manila luzon was a personal fave of Michelle Visage and I agreed with her in this one. Manila could've won season 3. It was really down to the runway critiques. If AS4 was fair and not judged by the Queen's, Manila Luzon would've been top two ...well actually Latrilla would've most likely been the double win of all stars 4. So like it's not an AS3 situation where 2 clear winner's who were eliminated for the third best to win, because Trinity, Monet and Monique also had good chances of winning the crown, but whoever wins now will always hear that Manila was robbed and the true winner of the season. That is especially sad for Trinity who has been saying from the start that she wants to compete and win against the best.

Why are they pretending that Season 3 was easier than the new seasons. Sure the fashion has improved but the challenges were much harder.
Robron Suggle it took a lot more to be an average safe queen on all stars 4 than season 3. Manila said she hasn’t watched recent seasons
I think in general, Season 3 was the was the hardest season in terms of challenges and also strong competitors. However, I wouldn't compare All Stars to the normal seasons because All Stars already has predetermined, strong competitors and since the judges know the queens already, they expect nothing less than 100%.
Season 3 had crazy sewing challenges! They had them making gowns out of money and hair and anything they could find. they actually had to be creative. Then 30 minutes before the runway there was always a twist.
"Oh you've almost finished the three looks we asked you to create? Now I need you to make another one using 2 bath mats, a glue stick and some floss with one hand behind your back. Good luck!"

Bottom line is, if you're a competitor who's afraid of going head-to-head with anyone, your days are already numbered. Naomi eliminated Manila because she knew she could never best her in direct competition, and that's not a winner. Could you imagine any of the previous Winners showing that kind of cowardice? Bebe, Tyra, Raja, Sharon, Jinkx, Bianca, Violet, Bob, Sasha, and Aquaria never showed any fear when it came to their competition, and that's why they were crowned... Naomi Smalls just proved that she ain't it.
THAT'S THE GAME!!! They don't eliminate each other in regular seasons and Sasha won with a surprise twist (I love Sasha, but season 9 was Shea's by score card). Sasha won, not because of her score card (Shea and Trinity had better ones) but because she seized the opportunity the lip sync showdown twist gave her. Naomi is doing the same thing as did Alaska in Season 2.
