*Fun fact:* Speaking of Anakin's Tusken massacre, Obi-Wan discovered what happened many years later, during his exile on Tatooine, when he ended up in the destroyed camp and perceived through the Force the horrible things that happened, something that fills Kenobi with even more sadness, feeling guilty for not being able to see that Anakin needed a lot of emotional support.
You had me in the first half
Why the Obi-Wan show just did nothing interesting like that? What was the point of making it if it explored nothing about their relationship except give us a poorly made fight?
That's when Qui-Gon appeared... telling Obi-Wan that now he knows.
They got into argument with Obi-Wan asking why didn't he tell him. Qui-Gon merely said that he wasn't ready to know and still not ready to know why.
Many years later during the events of Return of the Jedi, Obi-Wan finally understood what Qui-Gon meant. Qui-Gon was talking about forgiving Anakin and to have faith that he was not lost.
@@user-yq9im9dk9zBecause they keep changing project, The Kenobi series was originally going to be a film. Thus they get writers that either don’t know nothing of Star Wars or barely know little of it.
@@user-yq9im9dk9z Poorly made? Are you blind? Doesn't have to be your favorite, but to completely miss the call backs, emotional beats, and storytelling has no reflection on the fight itself.
Damn, the writer of this comic REALLY wanted with all those flashbacks to make the fight between Vader and Sand look like the most momentous, perfectly build over the years event in the entire story of Star Wars 😅

The big moment in overcoming ones trauma is for someone finding a constructive, healthy way to work through it. Even someone like Darth Vader.

If sand was a Sith Lord, it would be the most powerful Sith in history
The sand blasted him with lightning out of spite. I think Star Wars sand _is_ a sith lord.
I interpreted Anakin’a hatred of sand stemming from his life as a slave on Tatooine and it being a constant presence around just about everything bad that had happened to him up until Attack of the Clones, not to mention it’s just dirty, blowing in the wind and getting into everything. Yeah he dislikes it but it’s hardly his arch nemesis. This story sounds like it was just made because of the meme.
Seems like a lot of the comic flashbacks back up your theory and grant levity to it. Levity we as a fandom will appreciate for 4 minutes and keep making jokes with.

Honestly, given his experiences outlined in these flashbacks, it's no wonder the sensation of sand is such a traumatic experience for him

I read this story for the 1st time last week. And now, whenever I go back to it, I won't be able to read through it without laughing. I paused this video to test that statement, and all I heard as I read was you repeating the word SAND! thanks for the lol fuel, I really needed it. It made me lol during an emotionally stressful period.

I always love seeing flashbacks of Anakin's sad childhood in Tatooine. It reminds me of that amazing Legends minicomic where a young Luke meets and befriends an astral projection of a child Anakin. Their conversation about the nature of Tusken (in which little Anie says they are just misunderstood creatures) is pretty ironic and moving
