It all boils down to the dog evidence. You have to believe that two highly trained dogs with an impeccable record both consecutively gave false readings on two occasions in the apartment and in the hire car. They also only alerted to the mcanns apartment and their hire car despite being taken around 5 other apartments and 11 other cars that they didn't alert to. Highly improbable to say the least.

They then had to concoct & plan very quickly, or their entire life would be gone: jobs, house, twins, everything. So they have concocted an elaborate scam to try to fool the world. I believe the dogs. She died in the apartment & was moved. All I can add is, they have incredibly supportive friends (or alot of dirt on them), to not buckle after all these years, or even a wobble. Fiona Bruce is shocked that people are commenting. What kind of journalist of some decades experience is shockable? I only did 20 years as a reporter and I was unshockable after about two years. If you actually cover crimes, courts, inquests, major accidents in person of course, you soon learn to cope. I suppose if you work for Jackie as a model, go into marketing and 'meet' someone who parachutes you into the BBC you are going to perhaps be more gullible than the average Actual Reporter. The AG final report actually said the crime was undetermined and it certainly didn't rule this pair innocent (although a lot of people seemed to think it did including AC Mark Rowley, Judge Tugendhut and Isabelle Duarte).
These parents they never talk about Maddie they always talk about how it affected them. Never once they say nor express their fears about Maddie being alive or dead. They are soooooo different from other parents under similar circumstances. It’s just beyond weird.

They strike me very much as a couple who have already grieved their child. They're not still on that tightrope of wondering, as for example Ben Needham's mother (youtube search her). Based on the scent dog evidence (which has yet to be disproved), the toddler seems likely to have been sedated by her professional doctor parents, in order to enable them to have a peaceful night out on holiday - but it all went tragically wrong. And then - considering the odds: losing their other two children through negligent parenting, and then their high-profile professions, plus their reputations - it was easier for them (but I think Kate suffered more over this) to disguise the baba's death as a disappearance.
It makes perfect sense. The couple have just been very successful at walking that fine line of public opinion (with the complicity of the media - why?? They must have some powerful friends or good reason to fan the abduction flames)
These two do my head in. Why did they leave their kids alone. People dnt donate to their cause. They are both doctors on a good wage.

And now that the twins are adults, there's nothing to keep the parents together.
They regularly sedated Maddie.
They knew she woke up the previous night and cried, because maddie asked where they were! The woman upstairs said she heard her crying.
So they gave her more sedation. Maddie had also had an exhausting day, sailing and playing in the sun, its very likely she was exhausted, dehydrate, and even sun stroke would all effect level of consciousness, the sedation was too much.
They then had to concoct & plan very quickly, or their entire life would be gone: jobs, house, twins, everything. So they have concocted an elaborate scam to try to fool the world.

She died in the apartment & was moved.
All I can add is, they have incredibly supportive friends (or alot of dirt on them), to not buckle after all these years, or even a wobble. The wall of silence!!!! Isnt that itself odd?

1) if Maddie died of an accidental overdose and they covered it up, where did they hide her body before they dumped it, and when is the missing part of the timeline for when they would have dumped her?
2)If those other adults were checking on the kids throughout the evening, they all said they SAW Maddie in her bed, so when did she die then?
3) How could all this time have passed and not one of those other adults let slip the truth about the events of that evening, if those events differed to the ones they've all told? Human beings do NOT keep secrets very well, especially when covering for OTHER guilty parties. Someone would have switched by now.
4) Kate and Gerry still seem ADAMENT that they want Maddie found, and still go out of their way to keep the search for her going. If they were responsible for her accidental death and covered it up, I highly doubt that they'd still be proactively pursuing her being found. They'd be using different language, moving away from the idea of finding her. They'd be keeping a low profile, hoping that it's all died down and been forgotten about. They are not doing that.
Please explain to me the exact timeline of how and when they dumped her. Where would they have dumped her? They don't even know that country that well.
It still looks to me that their naivety and negligence in leaving the kids alone in that room at night, led to Maddie being snatched out of that room very quietly and quickly and placed in a vehicle and driven somewhere to be horrifically sexually assaulted and raped, then probably smothered or strangled, chopped up and scattered over the countryside by a sick, murderous, cunning pedophile who knows that hotel and that area very well.

On his way to the beach with Madeleine's body he unfortunately (for him) met the Smith family, so he decided to put the body in a bin. Nobody seems to have asked Gerry where he was for 30 minutes!
