I love Colorado.It is such a beautiful state.I love the flat iron mountains.My son and daughter in law and my beautiful grandaughter live there.I am from Michigan.If I had the money i would move to Denver.I have visited twice.Plan to go back this year.Last year me and my son and his friends went up 9,000 feet up in the mountains.Went to the zoo in Denver and went downtown Boulder to the Arts Fair.Such an awesome place to be.I stayed for over 2 weeks.Went walking every day.Pearl street mall is fun because u can do so much there.Awesome Awesome place.

I v e only been in colorado once in my entire life just southern Colorado Durango Grand Junction Mesa Verde and Silverton I took a ride on the former Rio Grande narrow gauge from Durango to Silverton it was fun

Grew up in Colorado and I love Boulder, but if Boulder is the best place in the US for cycling then it merely shows how far behind the US is behind places like the Netherlands and Denmark. You should also make the distinction between cycling as recreation/sport and cycling as a mode of daily transportation. Boulder looks like a pretty good place for the first, but not much better than most US cities for the second.
