The biggest takeaway from this video is NO ONE blocks lows ever.
Even in higher ranks lol they do a bit more than newbies but still. And grabs. I always switch up my grabs and they fall for it everytime.
Low parry is my favourite technique.
I block low all the time, just means i get hit by everything else 😂😂

I just subscribed and I don't even own Tekken 8. This video is so immaculately edited, what a treat man. Brilliant showcase of Kuma, plus you had me in tears boy, I couldn't stop laughing. I even showed my gf, she burst out laughing at the fish becoming a rocket. Tekken really is something else. I really want to get into this game.

I had some experience with Motion Capture for video games and gotta admit even though Namco has always created a seriously fluid and accurate movement animations and overall choreography for Tekkens in the past, (I think they were using MoCap before it was industry standard) They outdid themselves this time. Ps. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)

Great video! i started to play tekken from tekken 2 as well back in 1995/96 in my local arcades. I've been playing fighting games way before T2(SF2, MK1, ki1...etc) but tekken 2 just touched my soul so i'm a tekken player since then. Glad to find people who liked as well and gived a chance at this game since begining. Ggs!

Genuinely really inspiring editing style that makes me want to attempt something similar.
also at the lower ranks (and heck even some of the higher) one of the best things you can do to sneak in cheeky damage is whiff punish. Being plus or minus doesn't really matter if the move didn't land. You'll see greens, yellows, oranges, red, purples, hell even some blues whiff giant moves at distance. If you pick up on them doing this that's a free launch and a lot of free damage.
Block and punishing is cool and all, but you'd be surprised how far you can get with just good spacing and gamesense.
