Lene Marie Fossen was an amazing photographer. The way she portrayed people..with so much love. Susanne Sundfør’s music is beautiful as always. Btw it’s Susanne sitting by Lene’s bed in the hospital at 4:45
Let me go back To when I was young Here, I was born Here, I will die lonesome Let there be light Let there be love Hear the bells Ringin' our song Wake me, wake me, wake me up, my darling When the Lord has descended on us All the worries that you carried with you They are lost in a warm embrace Timelessness Far away From the land Where love is shame And shame is love of a prison Away from the dark Snow-covered hearts Softly, lay your hands on me Wake me, wake me, wake me up, my darling When the Lord has descended on us All the worries that you carried with you They are lost in a warm embrace Timelessness

I remember her voice from the movie "Oblivion", a few years ago. Really mesmerizing. As for the pictures, all suffering is hard to watch, but it is better than ignoring it.
The documentary is amazing, factual, sad and puts focus on eating disorders. The angle being the thoughts, pov's and feelings of the person and family of the one who suffers from it. And yes, even as I've watched the documentary, the video/images tends to take the focus away from the music.
@@dannytheswedishmusixian1513 I had eating disorders in my late teens, took over a year to get over it, over a decade for the metabolism to get on track again, but almost 20 yrs before i found a method that actually helped me on all levels and made me understand why, specially emotionally and mentally. Today, it seems like it's even worse than 20-30 yrs ago.

when you reacted to her song "undercover", you said more or less that she or her music doesn`t touch you or you don't feel this song, also someone in the comments said something like this. and i was really mad and angry because of it. if you don't feel her music, you are dead inside.

Hehe, well, I can’t prove it to you 🤔 When I watch reactions(comedy bits, tv-shows) I get to relive hearing/seeing it for the first time again, that’s what it’s about for me as a viewer. As a reactor my goal is to be honest without being mean or too negative.

Thanks you
In the documentary there’s a moment where Susanne sings for Lene by the bed, to cheer her up. The song Mantra, I believe. 😢❤️

It's both a haunting track and images. Such a tragedy, and she has lessons to teach us all.
Yeah, hard to watch imo
@@dannytheswedishmusixian1513 It was just as hard to watch today as the first time I saw it.
I believe you. I won’t watch it again.

My reaction to Oblivion is on my Patreon and will probably be published on YT as well in the future.
For me it's a pleasure that susanne is finally getting the attention she deserves.
It takes a lot for a song to make me cry. I cannot get through this song without tearing up...I just can't.
fantastisk fotograf. og Sundfør gjør ikke skam på henne
Seen her live twice.
Great musician.. my favourites are "White foxes", "Knight of noir", "brothel"
