both women became immortal with this one. susanne should be world famous because barely no one else is able to create music with this intensity. whatever she does in music is brilliant.
another very rare talent is anna von hausswolff

I am so lost in sadness, wonder, other worldliness. She is a spirit that I cannot begin to fathom. She found the angelic within her suffering and set it free for the world to see in her deep rooted photography. And the music, the vocal, . . . I am so humbled.

Well, you've done it again Jeff. The musical component was emotionally perfect... but the images and video were EXTREMELY powerful. Which makes this presentation all the more poignant given the sad fate of the artist being featured.
The photographs she took were EXCELLENT in every aspect and respect, especially the set towards the conclusion of the video documenting the end of her life.
As you said, the music was a perfect fit, and anyone... ANYONE watching the video HAD to be moved emotionally by the haunting music and lyric overlaying those powerful images.
Again Jeff, you are teaching this old man something new and I appreciate it! Thanks for the video.

Thank you so much! I was a little hesitant to post this one as I know some people would rather not see something like this but I have to be true to how I feel about it. I kind of have the attitude of take it or leave it, I will be playing deep content on this channel as well. Thank you for reinforcing that I'm doing the right thing!

The editing for this video is so masterful and effecting with the music ...
A couple pointers : The woman in gallery holding the rose was her mother and the woman at her bedside was the vocalist ...
My late sister had anerexia and bulemia when she was younger ...
I spoke to my mother about how she seemed to have done well in later life ( although she was overweight )
and mom said she just traded one disorder for another over time ...
The relationship with Food was ALWAYS complicated and imbalanced with my sister .
Peace and Love from Austin , Tx.

Hello, my friend, and thank you for a very beautiful reaction. This happens to be one of my absolute favorite pieces of art, I really have to say. I still vividly remember the first time I saw and heard it. I was almost crying my eyes out. Such tragedy and beauty combined. Lene marie Fossen and Susanne Sundfør were close, personal friends, which IMO adds just another layer to this. Susanne is the one sitting next to Lene in the bed in the video. Lene was one extremely brave woman for sure. Her age of 33 when she died suggests that she was a woman, but her struggle with anorexia from she was very young depraved her body of all resources, and she never even reached puberty. All of it incredibly sad.
I have a hunch that your other suggestions may be "The Brothel" and "White Foxes", or possibly "Undercover", but if not, we need to talk 🙂 Much love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥

Such a beautiful singer. And perfectly matched to this self portrait. Her photography without knowing her back story is stunning by itself and demonstrates that art transcends our own personal struggles.

    • @StrateleStudios
      @StrateleStudios  2 года назад +3

Yes...so very true. I recently saw an interview with Lene and she said she's rather be ill and be the best photographer in the world than to be healthy and unaccomplished. But in the same breath says that her art gives her life and she was optimistic that her condition was going to improve. Sadly it didn't but she has left a legacy of amazing art and that was her gift to the world.

This is why i love your channel.
You go outside the mainstream and
    actually promote less known music.
Fun facts Susanne Sunndfør got married
    to day.
    She's from my hometown.
Now you have reacted to a lot of
