Cool review but we all know that these guitars can rock out but if you could show how versatile the guitar is you might get more views and help Ibanez sell more instruments.
Cool video but this whole thing about affordable guitars being beginner guitars is not right. They aren't beginner guitars they are guitars. The player is the beginner even on a $20,000 guitar.
There's basically not much difference between the rosewood and jatoba. Rosewood's are good if you're looking for that old classic rock and metal sound and the jatoba is more preferred in the modern metal style. Both have differently unique features. I personally feel jatoba is quite better than the regular rosewood.
Can you send me some close up pictures of the fretboard? I have a late 2017 rg, and since they switched from rosewood to jatoba in 2018, I don’t know which one mine has.
If it's light reddish brown, it's Jatoba. They also switched the body wood to Meranti. Jatoba is an extremely hard wood that shreds drill bits. It will really help with the Wizard III stability.
Cletus Kasady it’s pretty dark with a reddish tint. Would you say that’s jatoba? Also I know mine has a mahogany body, because they didn’t switch that until 2019

Ibanez RGA42FM-DEF
How does this guitar balance with a shoulder strap attached? Does the neck want to fall down if you’re not holding the neck?
haha, I was expecting you to speak Spanish
Nice Pantera riffing, ooh yeah.
great review thanks rock on!
Should I go for this or the Schecter Demon???
Why shake it like that dude?
Well how to treat Jatoba Fretboard if it goes dry like we apply lemon oil on rosewood?
Hi, yes treat it the same as you would Rosewood or Ebony fretboards.
Is there any big difference between jatoba and rosewood fretboard?
I'd like to know this as well. Hopefully someone will answer.

How was the neck feels?slim or fat
Wizard III's are super thin.
Not one piece neck
Has scarf joint.
Pantera mouth for war
Can you put on a whammy bar on it
Hi, No the RGA has a fixed Hardtail Bridge, much easier for string changing and tuning.
There is a FR model of it tho.
No.
Terrible tone, it sucks!
That's his amp settings. I own the same guitar in blue and I can get pretty much any sound I want out of it.
@@athathoththegreat3901 I agree!
