The new Pink Panther episode is not the same as the original one like Peter Sellers. With out Peter Sellers as inspector Clouseau is not Pink Panther at all?
They are hard enough to use ordinarily. Peter Sellars was a comic genius to take it off the page however well written and turn every scene into a classic.
Walter Koenig (Chekov from STTOS) had a similar situation around the time of the production of The Motion Picture... he'd gone to use the lavatory on an airplane, only to have the door open at a very inopportune moment. To quote his book, Chekov's Enterprise, "It is difficult to maintain an air of dignity and importance when one's pants are in disarray about one's ankles."
People don’t realize how offended the French were by these films back in the day. They had zero humour for this detective. Sellers should have received a French recognition of sorts but instead they gave one to Jerry Lewis.
With his face cover up he looks like an Islamic terrorist in crutches? He is very extremely naive, hilarious, goofy, and always fight injustice. My parents told me that he always solves crimes not by intelligence or that's his job as a police officer but accidentally. His own boss wants to get rid of him at all cost even do him in. I am gonna be 52 years old in December and I have a few DVD of the Pink Panther episodes.

As always, Clouseau has chosen the most cumbersome, attention-attracting disguise humanly possible.

This scene is superb and all you can see is Clouseau's thick trimmed mustache as he is covered in a body cast. Perfection. Poor Fat lady. LOL
