Brandon, you totally missed three of the best rides there:Voyage to the Center of the Earth, Storm and Lost River of the Pharaohs. Hands down Disney Quality dark rides. I'm a Denver native and have gone to the park since the 90s. So bummed you missed those as I think they would have blown you away!

Thanks for making this man. I forgot how lit this place was until I saw this video. I haven't been since my summer club swim team went back in the day. Shoutout to all The Colorado natives. We seem to be a rare breed these days.

I recently moved to vegas in November. But before that I was born and raised in colorado. A Colorado native! When my cousins and i were younger, we use to get season passes and go mostly every single day! As we got older we didnt go as much. I took my daughter last year, and they changed it quite a bit! Hopefully when i go back to Colorado to visit some day, we get to go to waterworld again!🥰

Another thing. The attraction that looks like a wave pool use to be a wave pool but was recently changed. It was smaller then the Pepsi wave pool and had a hanging fake hammerhead shark where the building was. I would get the rental tubes so i could swim out to it and wait for the waves so i could touch it haha. Even the kiddy pool next to it was a section of the once small wave pool(or well small compared to the other wave pool)
Purates plung was also updated. It was before themedand called the Burmuda triangle. The black slides were like storm destroyed buildingsthat encompassed the bottom halves. Its been crazy seeing the changes over the years. I feel for the best in some^♡^
It was called Captain Jacks. I miss it so much. The shark is now in the canning company building! I'm so exited for the park to open again!

Honestly if you want to travel just to compare everything to Orlando and how its sooo much better there than here you can just scoot.
Thing is, the burgers that they have at waterworld are by far the best theme park burgers that I have EVER had! The fries are delicious too.
My dude, you went to Water World and didn't do Journey to the Center of the Earth or the Pharaoh ride?? Classics. Better than anything in any Disney water park.

it was! As a Colorado native who also read the book series. Despite it being a super huge water park there is in fact not a tunnel of love here.

Man me either I probably last went was 2003 and I just took my kids yesterday 7/4/2021 and I’m out of shape fat it was too much for me to handle carrying rafts up hill so I highly suggest the valet so that you don’t have to carry it
I was able to do those white slides 16 times in one day because it was extended hour is from 6:00 to 8:00 pm

You walked passed one of my favorite rides at the beginning it was orange and blue
I got stuck on that ride once lol. The lifeguard had to Body slide down to push us out. I recall her saying "THat's the third time that's happened today". (btw it is called double darre)

Also at the top it use to be a wave pool. Thats one thing im disappointed in that they changed the whole top part to be an attraction and not the pool anymore. I miss it

I went on the exact tall white water slide when I was there I was scared on the way up the stairs but when I got on I was like “ oh it’s over “ it’s definitely fun it goes fast though!

Hi MaMo M, thanks for the comment! I apologize for not including the review. The dole whip was actually really good but i don't think it was as good as the dole ships that I have had at the Disney Parks.
