- The Magic Kingdom re-opened on September 12th, 2017 after being closed for several days due to Hurricane Irma. In this video, we show you the effects that Hurricane Irma had on the park (including low crowd levels, several ride closures and fallen tree's). We hope that you enjoy this video and stay tuned for more Hurricane Irma Aftermath videos from the Walt Disney World Resort. 13:11 your answer : At a huge garden at Disney (behind the scenes) they have a copy of every tree in all the parks, each tree has a number and with a tree breaks or something, at night, they take the tree and replace with its clone :) hoped this was a good answer
Thank you for your videos Brandon! I am in Oklahoma and used to work in Texas. My company retired me, now I am looking for another travel job or something so I may be able to afford Disney World and Disneyland again! But for now I will ride along with you to the Disney Parks and other places you go!

I drove from Massachusetts to Florida and we left just before Hurricane Irma has caused the damaged we are luckily okay in (August 29, 2017)

I went to Disneyworld with my family several years ago, and we went the first part of September. It wasn't empty like it is in your video, but the crowd was very light. I have always said since then that the 1st part of September is the best time to go. Mainly due to it being the beginning of the school year, so best time to avoid the kids.
King C. Lol that’s when I plan on taking my kids. During the school year, pull them out say Thursday and Friday and come back on a Monday during school time. Avoid people all together lol
I went to Disney world 2 years ago it was so much fun and i still remember everything. Im deffenitly going back when im older and have kids.
Mesa Verde = Horizons!! Love this video! I wish this wasn't the result of a hurricane situation, but it looks awesome to be in the parks with super low crowds like this. It's been years since I've been to Disney World and seen crowds low enough to allow for multiple rides on the popular attractions.

This boy has bangs for days! I'm disappointed in my usual vlogger for not covering this enough, so I came here.
I started to notice the architecture for many of the rides and buildings as you were going through this video. While Irma fizzled out considerably about halfway up the state, it did create a LOT of power outages (I'm on the gulf side), so it was interesting to see that Disney didn't seem to have to deal with those. Also interesting how a lot of the shapes are created much in a beehive configuration (smaller at top, wider at bottom) with the tracks being protected by walls. It's interesting that you say they took two days to secure everything before the hurricane as it seems to have paid off well for Disney. I thought if I had money Disney would be the place to evacuate to as they are almost a self-supporting entity and would be well-stocked during the hurricane and get things back to normal very quickly. Based on your video, hurricanes seem like the perfect time for a Disney vacation! :)

The 7:45 opening was actually just extra, extra magic hours for resort guests that got stuck in their rooms for the hurricane

Reminds me of the days and weeks after 9/11. Very quiet and just as empty. Many of the quick service and table service restaurants were closed, especially over at Universal.

It is unusual to see the parks so empty. It must have felt so surreal to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad by yourself.
I loved big thunder mountain because when me and my sister where younger we always sat next to each their on rides and when there was those mini drops we low key fell out of our seats (not like fall out like how your butt lifts up on the tower of terror) and still happens to us now that where older!!!!

I was actually there on the same day, stuck in Florida during Irma since all flights out got cancelled and driving was impossible. 10 minute wait for Peter Pan's Flight. I haven't been back since due to lack of money, but I know it's going to be weird when I do go since that trip was so not crowded. Going to be an adjustment to wait in line again, lol.
I went to Hollywood Studios before Irma hit and then to Epcot after Irma for Food and Wine! lol Best time to go!
This sucks splash Mountain is my favorite ride and I am going to Disney world on October 6th and now we can't ride it because it's going to be close 😢😢😢😢.

My mom and dad went on a two day drive to get to Florida right after the hurricane cause they knew the crowds would be smaller lmao. They were gonna go for her birthday on the 11th but they didn't know if the hurricane was gonna hit and they didn't want to waste their trip if it did so my mom was pretty glad she did lol.

Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland do not have turkey legs, churros or monorails and Shanghai does not have Space Mountain at all ;)

I wished Disney looked like that back in 2016 when I spent $$$$ for four and it was over crowded and rain wasn't in forecast but for some reason it rained and at 8 pm things shut down...so we wasted money and didn't really enjoy any rides...we rode dumbo, people mover, buzz, and Ariel...saw the carousel of progress...So disappointing...I wrote in on the disappointment we had in the money we spent/lost and wanted a refund but of course they never responded...Tfs and they should limit number of guest daily so park isn't overcrowded...
There is a guest limit, and they have various phases of closure where access to the parks becomes more and more restricted. This goes into effect about 6 days per year - usually on holidays like July 4th - but it could happen on any day that the crowds are too large. Maybe it did happen when you went, but they wouldn't have kicked you out once you were inside. Crowd size at Disney parks is usually very predictable, as I've never had a bad experience in 9 trips there, but we also check the crowd calendar and make reservations months in advance (including fast pass reservations).
I wish it was that level of crowd all the time.

Just like DisneyLAND in Anaheim, California, they don't have the big roller coasters most other amusement parks seem to have. Even Lagoon in Farmington, Utah has better rides for the most parts.

I went to Disney last year after Matthew and it was horiid
First things first. Brandon is so adorable. Ok, moving on.... I haven't been to a Disney Park since they joined the One World Order and started forcing countless millions of people from around the world to submit their fingerprints. The government and credit card companies cant even secure our private data and now everyone is WILLINGLY just handing over their fingerprints to a massive corporation who has zero need for them in addition to ID, and making everyone wear or carry a device that tracks their every action and location. I simply cannot believe how easily gullible everyone is. They think it is innocent because its "Disney". What next? DNA samples? Blood samples? Semen samples? Embedded tracking devices? And everyone just blindly, stupidly says, "Hey, its Mickey Mouse, what could be so bad?" when they SHOULD be saying, "Hey, its Mickey Mouse... why the hell does he want me to do stuff which usually only arrested criminals have to do - just to go on some rides?!" Whatever; the Book of Revelation has to come to pass SOME time, I guess. So, I'll just enjoy Disney parks thru videos now. This is a really great after-hurricane vid.
