- We all know the humble Gen 1 Suzuki Swift as one of the cars that brought the concept of private transport to the masses. The Gen 1 Swift is also praised to be an amazing driving car in its stock form and over the years, we have seen many enthusiasts on a tight budget do rally builds along with street builds, mainly with diesel variants because of the turbo diesel engine. But the Swift we have in this video is literally turned up to 11, and 11 also might be an understatement as it is a G13B engine with a turbo slapped on. Now it makes a whopping 176 BHP which almost double of what it made stock! Watch the video to find out how it is to drive!

Very late reply, but here ya go. The swift in india got the g13bb, an SOHC 1.3, compared to the DOHC g13b that came in the foreign swift GTI, so yeah technically they've made a mistake

That's not a 1st gen swift. The 1st gen is the same as the geo metro and the 1st gen swift gti has a twin cam 1.3 na, or a twin cam 1.3 turbo. That shape, the gen 2 has a g13b SOHC or an m series motor

May be small advice try and shoot you reviews in Bombay really early in the morning or else you ain't getting a chance to drive and car to its full potential 4:30-7:30 in the morning it's the sweet spot. Light is the only thing you'll be fight for at those hours which is better than traffic, pedestrian, cops also better temperatures

Moreover, the owners of these vehicles should be able to come down to more open locations which is not possible always. Then the other thing is, since these cars are not owned by us, we don't want to be pushing the limits of a car that isn't ours. Please understand these situations.

For all you guys who dream of owning a turbo petrol , my suggestion is pick up a car that comes turboed from the factory and work on it ....it'll be much more reliable . Dont bother spending your hard earned money on tuner garages who promise the moon and when you finally get the car its a ...lemon.
