- The "Practical Tactical" Glock 35 is an awesome pistol that can fill many roles. In addition to the proven .40 S&W round, swapping out the barrel allows the gun to fire 9mm and .357 Sig as well.
As a proud multiple glock owner I added the G35 to my collection
And am very happy
I think the 40 is great. Your basically throwing a 165 grain 40 at the same speed as a 124 grain 9mm. More poop to it. It’s a little harder to shoot well but not very damn much. Great video.
Congratulations Brother, well Done! Carry On
Thanks man, appreciate it. Thanks for stopping by.
I live right by Glock's factory in Smyrna, GA. You can walk in without an appointment and get factory NS put on for $40 and all new internal springs or swap old mags for new ones for free. Great company!
I've heard they will do that service even while you wait. Very cool! I've had great luck with my Glocks.
So the 9mm and .40 mags are the same or do you need to swap the barrel and the mags?
The mags are caliber specific.
Nothing wrong with 40.........I have seen where certain loads come close to 10mm.....enjoy it
Thanks brother, I agree. The 40 S&W hard cast rounds I have coming are ridiculous!
Nice choice with the g35. I was real close to picking up a g35 gen4 a couple weeks ago for a good deal and ultimately passed it up. I’m really digging longslide guns as of lately. I kind of want a g41 and g40. I keep telling myself I don’t need any more glocks though lol
Thanks my man. Funny you say that because I had zero interest in long slide guns even after John Wick 2. The more research I did looking for a long slide pistol to hunt deer with, the 35 came up often. It is exactly what I was looking for.
Was checking one out today for like 650.00 at my FFL gun store, I may have to get it
I’m going to get me one police trade in with night sights, carry it for security work, looks like a sweet shooter!
You can get some bad ass 357 sig loads that would be even badder out of the 5" barrel if You get the 357 barrel.
Yes! There are so many options it's crazy. The 220 grain hard cast will get 850+ pound feet of energy out of that length barrel. Unreal numbers.
Yes I had stoppages with tlr1 and my 35, just don't tighten down the light to much and it should run fine. When I trained the sheriff's department tactical team, we had stoppages with the 22's and 35. Loosened the light up a bit and stoppages went away for the most part. We all switched to the x300 lights and never had another problem. I still use the tlr1 on my vp9 and have never had a problem. YMMV
Excellent info, thank you! I've hand tightened the TLR-1 just enough on two G19s and a 23 with no issues, hoping the same goes for the 35. My VP9 has been perfect with the same light also. Thanks for watching and the post.
Great caliber! Great gun! Thank you for the video!
I was wondering what you were going to pick. Nice choice! I've thought about getting a Glock 34 myself several times, still might. I've read in several places that the well known firearms trainer Tom Givens carries a Glock 35 IWB as his primary everyday carry, so that is what I would call quite a recommendation for that particular gun. The barrel versatility is another great point. I think you've got a keeper there.
Excellent info, thanks! I fell in love with it for sure and it fits my intended purposes perfectly. The guns I keep will be the best choice for me in at least one specific role and of course this one will fill multiple roles.
Awesome pistol, the 40 is so powerful for its size
I really should stay off of RUclips... hmm where will half of this paycheck go, a used Glock 35 and endo adapter, AR parts or transformed into precious metals so I can't spend it on guns or motorcycle parts....
Crazy how expensive RUclips can be isn't it?
I have a G34, and I love it. Just haven't gotten it out to the range nearly enough.
I didn't want to stop at 150 rounds yesterday. Fun gun to shoot.
Poe Performance I can never stop at 150 with mine, I bring 300 just for the G34.
Is that a James Yeager target at 5:20 jk :)

I love my Glock 19 gen5
Looking forward to the Underwood test.
So am I! The 40 Super is a powerful round.
... Glock 25 The Real Deal .”
I have the Glock 19 Gen 4 and love it!
Nice!
Did you keep it? Some great deals out there.
Great upbeat enthusiastic Video. I own Gen 3,4 and 5. My only complaint with the Gen 3 is the smooth lack of grip texture. I could care less about the dual recoil spring.
Have a 35 gen 3 that I’m receiving next week. Absolutely cannot wait. Just one question, is the recoil at all noticeable between the gen 4s dual spring and the previous gens recoil spring? Currently only have experience with Gen 4s so I’m just a bit curious
I like the gun, and I'm starting to like .40, but if you can show me a .40 s&w round that cranks out 750 pounds of muzzle energy, I'll eat my hat!
ruclips.net/video/P6uRqfMw7bQ/видео.html put some good sauce on the hat
Would you recommend running that Underwood ammo through a Glock 22 full size?
Sure! t worked well in my 35.
@@PoeOutdoors thank you for letting me know! Just wanted to make sure.
40 is nearest to perfect duty gun.
No 40 loading is that hot 700ft LBS, can't find any 220s for a 40 Underwood does not sell that .
You are correct. I realized after the video was posted I read the specs for the 40 Super.
@@PoeOutdoors wow I never heard of that round looks interesting? 40 is legal in this state for deer marginal in my opinion 180 hardcast or extreme penetrator or defender , speer makes some hunting hollow points in underwood.Drop a dd stainless 357 sig barrel in that you can get 700 with the grizzly 90 grain and mid 600 with a few other loads.
is this a gen 4 or 3?
