The BEST store for Pokemon TCG in Sapporo 2023

- Sapporo has a large land area and is a calm area with many people.
Because it is located far from Honshu, the number of people who come to buy Pokemon cards is not as large as in other areas. Therefore, it is one of the leading areas where many products in good condition remain.
Shops in Sapporo sell many vintage cards, booster boxes, and single cards at good prices.
Be careful as the roads are frozen in winter! Other than that, I think you can enjoy your trip to Sapporo.
1)Book Off: 3:39 New sets/ Booster Box(2016~)
www.bookoff.co.jp/shop/shop20...
/ toreka20374
Trading cards are sold on the 4th floor of a 4-story building. Please be careful as the inside of the building is a bit complicated.
They sell many single cards here. Prices are friendly overall.
They are sold Ancient Roar and Future Flesh at list price!
2)Amenity Dream: 5:39 New sets / Booster Box(2023~)
/ amenitysapporo
This is one of the local & deep shops in Japan.
The purchasing method is complicated even for Japanese people.lol
If you don't speak Japanese, I recommend that you ask the staff for help!
If you are lucky you will find so many booster boxes!
I recommend going to the store on weekdays😅
3)Mandarake: 6:36 Old back(1996~)
www.mandarake.co.jp/dir/spr/
/ mandarake_spr
Mandarake's main store is in Nakano, Tokyo.
This is one of Japan's leading companies that handles many vintage products. To be honest, I have to tell you that prices and quality vary depending on the store. I think the Sapporo store has very high quality.
4)Surugaya: 8:20 Old back(1996~)/ New sets
suruga_norbesa?la...
Surugaya's headquarters are in Shizuoka, Japan. They are a company that originally started out in the plastic model business, and like Mandarake, they handle many vintage items.
The price of new item cards is higher than other stores, so we do not recommend it. On the other hand, the quality and price of vintage cards is excellent.

Thanks for making this video. I can see the difference between Osaka & Sapporo Pokemon Shopping. Sapporo looks like a peaceful place. Great content please make more videos about Japanese Pokemon! Your English is good and easy to understand!
I really appreciate it( ^ω^ )! I do my best to study English, too!
Fantastic! A great video and thank you for the tour. I wish you and your family a great Christmas and a prosperous and happy New year.
Oh thank you so much...you too🎄🎄🎄
I don't even collect Pokémon cards and I don't know why I got so hooked on your previous video (The one in Osaka) but I became really interested in Sapporo just by the way in which you talked about your hometown in the early minutes of the video where you invite us to go visit it, it just seemed so genuine that I could not help myself from thinking "The people in Sapporo seems to be really warm" and now seeing this video where you are showing us Sapporo (even just a little bit) is just wonderful, I will definitely visit Sapporo in my next trip to your country. Thank you, I hope we can see more of Sapporo in your videos. BTW I learned how to pronounce it correctly from you!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your comment! And I would be very happy if you could feel the charm of Sapporo!

Such a beautiful view of Odori Park! I can't wait until my next visit to Hokkaido and hope to stop by all these recommended shops as well as the Pokémon Center! Thank you so much for making these videos, providing authentic Japanese insight into the world of Pokémon, but in English! 🤩
I really really appreciate your comment!
And you are very knowledgeable about Sapporo!
@@annajapananime Just want to thank you again as I just spent 2 days in Sapporo and visited all the places you recommended! You definitely saved me a lot of time otherwise spent wandering around in freezing weather. I picked up cards from Surugaya and C-labo. Mandarake and Amenity Dream were good too but I didn't get anything. I didn't pick up cards from Bookoff either but my kid got a few Pokemon plushies instead! We even found Shiny Treasure packs at the Pokemon Center check-out for 550 yen each!
subbed! awesome content :)
Yeey! Thank you😆!
I need to go to Hokkaido! looks like a winter wonderland 🏔
Yeap! Wonderland is open from December to March every year😆!
Yet another great video! Sapporo is great for pokemon card hunting as well as even greater seafood feasting! You got a real stael for the 3 charizrad cards! Hopefully viewers can get good deal from your online store!

Wonderful to see Sapporo. Here in Norway I know exactly what that weather is like ❤.
Every time I see those prices I think "would buying cards in Japan compared to ebay save me enough money to pay for the airfare???".
Only found your channel this week, enjoying what I've seen. Thank you.
Oh thank you so much from Norway! Norway is one of the countries I would like to visit someday! I hope our country is nearby!

So train is ~1.5hrs from Tokyo correct?
Ahhh sorry my English and content was so bad... I mean 1.5hrs from Tokyo by domestic plane😅
Great video and awesome content!
My wife laughs also when she is tired so i understand that part :)
Besides Surugaya specialty store and BOOFOFF, any other trading card shops that you would recommendation for decently priced pokemon cards within the area?

Hi, thanks for your video! Are you sure that it take 2h from Osaka to Sapporo? Because in every information I found, it take something like 15h by train. It's really far. Thank you very much!
Ahhhhh I'm so sorry...I mean it takes 2 hours from Osaka by airplane. My English was so bad. I'm sorry for confusing....>
@@annajapananime Haha no worries! Great video!!
Do you know how much it costs for PSA Japan to grade per card?! I didn’t know they started grading in Japan! That’s awesome!
Yeah, actually they started to grade from this year! The minimum price is 2200yen.(sorry not sure about the rule...) You can check from this link! Please translate😅
www.psacard.co.jp/submit
I just saw! Thanks! I've read turnaround time is about 5 to 9 months so I might just stick to American PSA for now haha@@annajapananime
also CONGRATS on the 1000 subs!
hey what year did you come back to the hobby? or did you never leave since year 2000.
Nice haul! Surugaya and Mandarake >> Book-off from my experience.
What would you say are the best cities to buy cards at a good price?
Thank you! I think The most cheapest area for TCG is Sapporo or Nagoya. I'm gonna go to Nagoya to take new video next year for sure:)
Thanks for sharing! Hope you have a great holiday season and a happy new year! 😊
Is the Pokemon Center Sapporo good to buy cards or is it sold out?
Pokemon Center Sapporo only sells packs! However, I don't think there are that many types😅
how are you able to film inside the card shops without a worker telling you to stop?
What a beautiful hometown! 🤩 May you have any tips how to reach Sapporo?
Thank you:) If you are coming from Tokyo, take a domestic flight at Haneda or Narita Airport!
@@annajapananime well i am coming from germany. So i need to fly to tokyo first and then a domestic flight right?
@@Chillaxo704 Hi! Just wanted to add that you can also buy the JR East-South Hokkaido
Rail Pass for tourists (6 days of unlimited travel on trains and Shinkansen from Tokyo), I think it's an extremely good deal and you can enjoy very cool destinations with just one rail pass. :)
@@j_1004 hey! Thank you very much! 😊🙏🏽
@@Chillaxo704 No problem! 😊Just wanted to point out I first butchered the train pass's name but it's actually the JR-East South Hokkaido Rail Pass (edited my comment) 😆 I really recommend the JR Pass, I had one when I traveled to Japan last month and it was such great value!
Did you find any Sapporo pikachu ?
Actually I couldn't find Sapporo Pikachu😅
There were a lot of them on sale last year, but now that I think about it, I can't find them at all this year🧐
😢 hopefully I can find one today. 😂
