Can you negotiate the price of the cards lower? Or is that considered rude in Japan?
Good question! In Japanese culture, there is no negotiation with such stores.
This is because store clerks do not have such authority.
Japanese store staff are kind, so I don't think it would be rude to negotiate with them. But I think they will kindly decline.
For example, if you have built a long-standing relationship with each other and are doing business as companies, I think you can negotiate!
Thanks for the reply. Good to know. In America, everyone expects the buyer to offer a lower price
@@derekk2300I so much wish it were possible in Japan! But unfortunately, as mentioned above, not how it works.
Wow! I collect old back cards more than the newer series. So I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for showing all your purchases. It makes me want to go card hunting!
Thank you!
I love vintage holo, too:) So I was so excited to edit video, actually😂
Those are some really great prices on those Charizards! You getting excited about Pokemon cards makes me want to get more cards! What is your dream card that you want to add to your collection? My dream cards are the Mario and Luigi Pikachu Promo cards.
Yes!! Yes!!! I was so impressed buying Charizard such a price😭 If I have a plenty of budged for Pokemon, my dream is to have all the Crystal type Pokemon from the e-card era...
@@annajapananime Excellent choice! Those cards are so beautiful! I hope you are able to get them!
AMAZING CARDS! I'm personally hunting down vending machine and Southern Islands cards. This video makes me want to search for more =)
Thank you for your comment😭! I love vending machine and Southern Islands, too!!! They're so beautiful arts...🥰
Those are some amazing cards at a great price, pretty good binder pieces
Yes, I was so impressed especially Charizard price..I would like to display this Charizard with the price tag😂
I would be intrested in your entire collection ^^. Maybe you have/can make a video about it?
Oh sounds nice! I will take about my collection near future!
thanks for great content, I'd love to visit Japan one day and experience the daily life of tcg stores in person 😁
Definitely you will be enjoy shopping at Japanese TCG stores🥰
I like your polo bag 🧸
Wow, thank you:) I love polo and this is one of my favorite one!
Classic Japanese Cards, bent and curved from the humidity and lack of A/C. Haha, I had that happen to my cards I opened up when I stayed in Japan for 2 weeks. That kind of stuff does not happen to cards in America, and if they are curved, some people would consider them almost destroyed! For me, it reminds me of Japan whenever I see those humidity curved cards haha
Well, since Japan is a country with high humidity, some people keep their high-value cards in a wine cellar to maintain the temperature and humidity. lol
@@annajapananimeI didn't know that! I'll have to make sure I get a wine cellar if I ever move to Japan haha :D
@@telaportofficialAt home, keeping them in a top loader over a binder usually prevents the cards from bending. Some stores will have showcases with regulated humidity but these are expensive so unfortunately not everywhere…
@@PokeNickinJapanYes, I can imagine PSA/Beckett Submission sleeves would be perfect in keeping the card flat.
🤘🤘🐠🐠
the way theyre packaged they look like cookies. they should sell cookies.XD
That's true!!!It definitely looks like a bag of cookies😂
Such beautiful cards! And amazing prices! Those would cost 3 to 10 times that amount in Canada! Thank you so much for sharing! Have a beautiful day!
Thank you for your comment:) I think currency gap is related, because Japanese yen is weak these days...😅
Great Pokémon cards Anna.. why so cheap?🤔
Not playable ? There are sooooo many small starches. It may be hard to see on the backs. It's also not cheap when you get paid 1,300-2,000 yen an hour like the average Japanese. The amount she spent is like rent, phone bill and water/gas bill in Japan.
Because the yen is weak. But for the average Japanese salary, these cards are not so cheap.
As everyone has already said, I think Japanese yen is weak these days😅The total amount is almost rent fee for one month😇
so many beautiful cards 💚💜💛❤️do you have favorite of these?
Light Dragonite art is my favorite in person🥰
@@annajapananime ☺️💕 oh yes it's really cute
nice pickups!
Yey🥰
