    I've had wine from grapes that got smoked in fires in California, about 15 years ago, and it was noticeable and not terrible, but not terrific and I can see how it could go all wrong.
    Nerd corner: It's not whiskey; it's mixed with brandy, which means it can't legally be called just whiskey. It's labeled as "whiskey & brandy", so clearly the makers know, even if J Random News Producer doesn't understand why. Good chance for someone to invent a term for it, like "whisgnac" or "barlandy"...or maybe something actually worth ink...
