I agree 100%. However it is not the same when compared with athletes that come from humble backgrounds. There is more pressure. You get injured, you dont win, you dont make money. You don't have a pillow to get a soft landing. There is a different stress level.
I played professional soccer in Europe at the age of 18. I know how it is.
Other than that she has a great personality and that has nothing to do with money. Nice girl, humble, kind, low key, hard working. I wish her the best.

The only tangible edge one could say she has had is in the beginning when she wasn't doing well she had enough money behind her so she could keep chasing her dream. Financial concerns along with losing often play a big role when a player is first starting.

@@user-eu2me4bp7j what is your race that you’re so critical about her? Even so rude to say that you don’t like something about her being half Asian.

They need to stop all this stupidity. It's her family that has the money. This is hating #101. So a person can't get credit for doing anything because their family have money. It's obvious that people have nothing else to do. This is so lame that it's ridiculous.

Her mom is Korean and I think dad is Dutch if I'm not mistaken so she's got an exotic look like Naomi Osaka. I think both were top athletes so makes sense good genes passed to her to be top athlete herself. She's done well and doesn't want to coast on dad's money.
