It's not that speedy (the Dolphin is faster - 100-130kps) the chim4 is around 80-100 - but since the drone was more precise to fly and didnt shake too much, I was more confident flying it closer to the ground ;)
Correct, I flew it the other way round than here in the video: first with Air3, then Dolphin (shaky and I wasn't confident enough to fly closer to the ground. Lastly had this chill flight with the tiny chim4.
Such a scenic location with great flying and epic editing to create a truly cinematic vibe. This location is ideal Mario, you just need to convince a flying buddy, or two to join for some fun team flying in future. (minus the hawk)
Just like the "Hallermauer dives" from the more recent dive vid, this here was a really nice opportunity to fly under perfect conditions. Still have a few more flights like these to edit (lucky enough I got some good flying sessions this season). Thanks for binge-watching my last few vids and your feedback as well! greets, Mario
Didn't ride much this year. But on trip was nice and I took the air3 with me. Not 100% fpv feeling, but stunning images and long Flighttime plus convenience made it special.
epic spot, nailed the edit, shame about the buzzard? a buzzard will never attack you but ti will get curious. i saw oliver fpv lost a penguin to an eagle a few weeks back, really scary rescue, but he was doing a chase and got it all on camera
Thanks Mac! It was just a perfect opportunity to fly on that day. The bussard was really close to the lens ;) but it was while transitioning from one shot to another to capture the scale of the wall, and since you can start and stop recording with an air 3 I stopped rec and suddenly it was dangerous up there ;)
@@Rcschim buzzards are cool, i've noticed one watching me flying around and we just hung around slowly cricling together, they are giant birds, they dont fear anything imagine a bird almost up to your waist belt.

Mario, can you please sugest some resources in Germany to be able to fly as a begginer safely. I have impression it's not allowed to fly anywhre in Germany at all an especially dolphin with his 500+ grams
from what I have read you need to have insurance (join a rc club, they have cheap insurance), you also need a drone license for 250g+ and you need to follow local flight rules (most countries have their own map.

In fact, if you keep this up, I'll have to insist you create a second, member's only channel, for your inspiring Drone-Scape edits. Exactly 1 minute into your video, I had my sound at *twice* the level I use to piss off my neighbors. You've pretty much bottled everything I enjoy about this entire hobby into one video - the tech, the landscapes, the pacing of optics and sound, but especially the diverse imagery. Just stunning, friend. Best FPV video I've seen in a long, long time. That landing to handheld transition was inspired!
Thanks for this very inspiring comment! This was just a very very good occasion to fly on a impressive spot, no technical problems, weather good, the only thing I kind of regret is, that I only filmed handheld shots just with the phone instead of a decent camera (laziness). Greets, Mario
Dolphin: 14min 30sec, 682mah left in the 2600mah 4cell Lipo Chim4: 10min 39sec, 1442mah left in the 3000mah 4cell LiIon that makes em both quite similar in efficiency, 17-18mins of flying time under those conditions.

Dank dir! Chim4 hat die selbe O3 wie der Dolphin - jedoch schaut die Quali nicht so gut aus. Ich denke hier hatte ich schlechte Props und mehr Vibrationen. Wenn man das dann stabilisiert, dann wird's etwas weniger scharf. Dennoch ein super Flug dort! Bei uns regnets auch grad - aber die Natur brauchts eh!
@@Rcschim Ich bin immer wieder begeistert was mit 4 inch möglich ist !! Die O3 ist da wahrscheinlich die beste Wahl … „mitschleppen“ einer Action 2 oder einer Gopro eher nur ab 5 inch sinnvoll … siehst Du das auch so ? Liebe Grüße 😊👋👋

@@Rcschim Yes I agree completely. I have a DJI mini 3 pro and using the hdmi out on the RC pro to my Hdzero goggles I can tree surf nearly 30 mins....

Had my dolphin sitting in a box for a year unbuilt. Time to get it in the air. Winter is build time.
How long were both flights? How much battery was left when done?
