As an MD co-owner of a med spa and, secondarily, an injector; Yes! Thank you for voicing reason and appropriate treatment without $$ as the driving force for treating patients!

When patients say they’re getting botox to prevent lines… I ask if they are using SPF, or avoiding sub beds, keeping hydrated, and each their fruit and veg… if they’re not… they’re not preventing lines hahaha❤

6:14 I do appreciate this. Im 29 & have been wondering for awhile, should I get Botox ? I notice a lot of women suggest starting around 30 so you don’t have the deep wrinkles in your forehead. But that’s really not why I have considered them. I get told often I have RBF. I do wonder if Botox would help with that or something else

Botoxing the DAO muscles might help against RBF.

I believe RBF truly fits into the concept he discussed about "miscommunicating." Instead of authentically connecting with people, RBF might lead to a miscommunication of your emotions.

Literally the only reason I'm even looking into it. Tired of being misunderstood. However, I see people target frowns, I don't think my RBF is coming from my frowning. I'm procrastinating getting a consultation

Why is a dentist injecting Botox unless it is for tmj? Why would it be cosmetic?

My staff knows I do not do Botox on younger people. It was odd the day a twenty-two-year-old was sitting in my chair and I looked at my staff and they smiled. I said what movement don't you like and she said the crow's feet. I asked her why not. She said because they make me look like my dad. She got Botox that day. I have daughters. I know what you were saying!

My understanding of baby Botox was more of an all over superficial facial injection. It tightens the skin. That what a baby Botox facial is. I’ve never heard of this being baby Botox.

Baby botox is twice the dilution used with a stamp for oil control of the skin…. At least that’s what I have been using it for. Great results on teen acne

I heard of baby botox for the first time in a salon the other day, some people are saying its all over the face and others are saying its literally just a lower dose lol

I feel like Botox injections can have consequences far beyond the three month period. When the dynamics of your muscles change from botox it doesn’t just go right back to normal after a few months. I had clicking in my jaw after a low-dose of masseter Botox for about two years. I had tightness around my mouth and increased laugh lines after it also that lasted a long time as well. Accidentally had too much injected above my right eyebrow or for a brow lift and now it’s difficult for me to close that eye at night which makes it more difficult to sleep. I need to be more careful about my Botox usage now. Lol

As a dentist, I had never even heard of baby botox. Now that I have learned something? this is one of the most asinine things i have ever seen. Its like being pregnant...there is no "kindof"...you either are or you aren't. You either had Botox done or you didn't. And yes, i am licensed to administer Botox.

I’m 30 and I get normal Botox lol. I have called it baby Botox - but I know it’s full strength. I started getting it after getting “Spock brows” from a migraine protocol.
