“And this is why the Mets will win the 2022 World Series”
Ah the yearly comment
Oh hell yeah
I love this comment
Na blue jays
This is the only reason I watch these videos is for this comment
Pre prediction: The 2022 New York Mets will go 162-0, Jacob DeGrom is gonna win the Cy Young after going 74-0 with a -99999.99 ERA, 69,420 strikeouts. Francisco Lindor will win the MVP after batting 2.193 with 4,962 home runs, 11,980 RBI, and winning the world series in 2 games over the Cleveland Browns..... The New York Mets.
183-0*
Love these unbiased, realistic predictions 👍
This cracked me up lol
No way Lindor hits over 2.0
Maybe in the 1.75 range, but do you have any idea how lucky a player has to be just to hit over 1.0 let alone over 2.0?!?!
Pretty realistic tbh

As an Angel fan, I’m getting pretty tried of saying “there’s always next year.” I think this year is the first time where I’m pretty optimistic with the team as a whole and I’m really glad we’re making moves to improve our bullpen, but We need to make more improvements with some of our relievers and defense.

So hyped for this season for the blue jays! Heartbreak with the 2015 team, but this team blows them out of the water! I think they start off slow like they usually do, but finish the season with over 100 wins!
With fewer division games, its not inconceivable that there could be 3 teams in the AL East that get to 100 wins. I'm not predicting that it happens, but it isn't that far fetched.

I’m a Yankee fan but I picked the Jays to win the WS as well. They were insane once they found their identity and hit their stride last season and the have the best lineup in the majors in my opinion. Bullpen is sneaky good and the only doubt I have in their rotation is Gausman, because he was pretty average last year once they cracked down on the sticky stuff.
Dodgers are much better than the Jays
It ain't looking like that now
L
Well Gausman was their best pitcher, their lineup was mid af, and the Astros are playing chess while the rest of the AL is playing checkers

So is this the kiss of death for the Blue Jays. Fun offseason while it lasted
No way the birds up North win 2022 World Series........
It’s not really a kiss of death…that offense in Toronto is absolutely ridiculous…would be stupid to not pick them if they are healthy going into the season(which they are). Also that pitching rotation is very good too. Feel like the only thing that stops this team this year is injuries(knock on wood)
I hope he does a reaction video to this after the season😂
I think people are overlooking the Cardinals. They have arguably the best defense and a perfect combination of veteran leadership and young studs. I would not be surprised if they make a deep playoff run this year
I hope you are right
They really didn't need to make a lot of moves in the offseason because all they need is for their pitching staff to be less injured than it was last year. They're also just a consistent, well-run organization that will be seeking playoff success in what could be the last year for the three oldest players on the roster (two of whom are surefire Hall of Famers)
They were a .500 team outside of a two week stretch last year
Get used to disappointment.
Yeah and the bullpen is sneaky good, the rotation has questions..this cardinals team is a lot better then people wanna give them credit for
As a Yankee fan the Blue Jays have me sweating bullets this year. Right now we can’t even beat them in ST when we put our best lineup on the field. They’ve absolutely blown us out every time we’ve played them.
I Don't sweat anyone so what if Toronto wins its just a game.
ST don’t count. The pitchers that have given up the runs aren’t going to be in the roster.
@@GiovannMan JAYS STILL SWEPT YOU GUYS 4-0 IN ST
@@GiovannMan They rocked Luis Gill and Jordan Montgomery
@@GiovannMan Come check this out, it was a few jays fan taunting you celebrating a few meaningless spring training games
What people don’t seem to realize with the Red Sox is that their current rotation will not be their full season one. By June they should have a rotation of Sale, Eovaldi, Paxton, Pivetta, and Houck/Wacha/Hill/Whitlock, which is a very very good rotation. Not to mention that they have about 5 or 6 guys who start and that have high leverage bullpen caliber stuff that are in AA or AAA and will make an impact later on. I haven’t finished this video yet but I could definitely see them finishing 4th as Marc said, but they should make the playoffs and once there I think they make a splash again like last year
Paxton and Sale are major wildcards though, so you can't just assume it will be good in a couple months. Both are coming off major injuries to their arms, and sale with the ribs aswell
I do think boston will finish above the yanks, but i dont see them beating out the rays or jays
@@aberlope5239 the thing is the jays didn’t prove it yet. I think the Sox are a better team then them cause they are more experienced. Also people are sleeping on the Sox lineup.
sorry, but they still aint making playoffs, I'm a jays fan my so yeah a little mhm lot bias
@@JackWashburn_ we made it to the alcs and you guys lost semien and ray and added basically the same people. I think u will make the playoffs but I don’t understand people saying the yanks will. Their lineup is horrible. Also I don’t know how the rays keep having guys hitting 200 and making the playoffs it’s incredible. I think the Sox have a chance and there is no way a team from missing the playoffs then winning the World Series is possible. People are sleeping on the sox
Fun to watch this a at the end of the season
As a braves fan I have said this ever since the lockout ended, I think the Braves take the division but not because I am a braves fan but because the Mets haven’t proven themselves. They always have a solid rotation and good lineup but until they can atleast win a wild card or prove everyone wrong, braves have to be favorites but Mets look good if they stay healthy
As a Mets fan I agree with you that the braves are gonna win the division. I just want the Mets to get into the playoffs tbh
i mean when they were good in 2015 they made it to the World Series, it can happen with degrom and scherzer, yes, but prove it. Also Go braves!
@@swishy_bluez lol well Mets are the team to beat this year!😂😂
I'm a Yankee fan, and I'm right there with you with these predictions... Blue Jays are sick this year... Just one objection; Judge is healthy, he's the American league MVP. 50+ bombs 1000 OPS
He's on pace for that
This might sound crazy but I feel like the Reds are trying to go the “money ball” approach and while many have killed them this off-season I kinda feel like they’ll be sneaky good
Can’t really say it’s money ball when you’re paying 2 guys 40 mil alone, not sure what you’re seeing that warrants them being sneaky good
@@ryanweaver5065 One of those guys has a no-trade clause and the other has played so poorly no one will trade for him. They would have been traded if not for that

Side Note: The Mets beating the Dodgers has nothing to do with the channel, it's just DeGrom/Scherzer x2 in a 5 game series
The odds that there isn't a single team with 100+ wins is very low. Expect the Braves, Dodgers, White Sox or Bluejays to win close to or more than 100 times. Honestly if it's any year for a team to beat the win record, its this year with the Dodgers. They arguably have the best overall team in mlb history on paper.

You are very knowledgeable about all the rosters and go into depth about not only stars on teams but also the role players. I appreciate that and it shows me you know what you're talking about. Great video. And thats coming from a Cleveland fan who i think you accurately analyzed.
Phillies are ABSOLUTELY making the playoffs. I also see another mvp for Bryce. Dude has so much protection around him. Soto does not
Harper sucks. Its no surprise the Nats won a WS the year after he left for Phila.
Phillies haven’t made the playoffs in a decade. No reason to believe they will this year
I think so too. Their pitching is pretty underrated. I do agree with Mark in that injuries would absolutely wreck the team though. They do not have the depth to afford big injuries.
@@JramLisztfan book mark this
Extra wild card this year. They could easily be a top 6 team in the NL
Hard to predict baseball because a lot of good teams gain momentum at different times. Trades injuries happen a lot as well can’t predict that. Always some average teams make it and take advantage of better teams injuries and lack of momentum like the guardians.
I'm gonna laugh so hard when the phillies finish over the mets for a third year in a row
What’s crazy is one of these days you will be right about the Mets and we must then bow down to your greatness
Does he not realize the mariners destroyed the rays in the series last year and the mariners got better ever since last year
They also over performed last year. -51 run differential, I like Seattle but could see them getting a similar record even with a better team.
@@willyb9572 but a plus 69 fun differential, everyone forgets that one!
It's a small sample size. I really like The Mariners but I don't think anyone would reasonably argue that they are better than The Rays. The Rays got better than last year too with more development for their pitching staff and Wander Franco maturing.
The notification for Julio Rodriguez making the Opening Day roster literally popped up as the words "hopefully he makes the Opening Day roster" came out of Marc's mouth
The cardinals while I wish they added some bigger pitching names to bolster that side of ball, they still have the best defense in the game to back them up and if hicks can stay healthy once Flaherty and Reyes are back defense is enough to save the rest of the rotation. As for the offense Dylan Carlson started to breakout at the end of last year and will only get better this year. Arenado numbers will go back up after having an adjustment year last year and still putting up 100+ rbis not to mention Paul goldschmidt going off this spring and look for dejong to have a bounce back year he’s looked great this spring. And then there’s Tyler O’Neil who’s gonna put up 40 bombs this year and only continue to hit for more average. Young talent is off the charts with Gorman and Juan Yepez possibly making the roster as well. Just watch the Cardinals take the division keep sleeping on them!!
As a fellow Cardinals fan, I sincerely can't understand why so many people keep putting faith in Reyes to perform under any level of pressure. I'm not even talking about the walkoff to L.A. against Chris Taylor - I'm talking about the walkoff to PITTSBURGH.
He gave up a walkoff to Yoshi Tsutsugo, a guy who had a whopping eight HRs last year. A guy who had more strikeouts than hits. Reyes can't even strike out two batters per every walk right now. He's rocking a career 6 H/9. He's not nearly what everyone keeps trying to say he is.

As a Phillies fan I am disappointed every year when I watch the predictions video, you always have Mets Bias and Disrespect the Phillies every year.
The irony in this year is I do think the Mets have a good chance at winning if not at least going to the world series. As for the Padres I think we will have a solid year but if they don't make the playoffs I won't be surprised. Keep in mind I'm a huge Padre fan but in reality I know we might disappoint. Doesn't take away the fact of how excited I am for baseball. Go Padres. Keep the faith!

Just hope they don’t play the Royals. Lol your playoff Nemesis. Don’t worry we won’t be there this year.
Ok bro. Huge Braves fan here. You have my respect. The Mets are going to be a handful. Should be a great season! Let’s go Bravos!
Miami's going win the WS this year. The just got Cole Sulser & Tanner Scott today!
All jokes aside, I do think the Rays & Braves in the WS. Rays will get their first WS in their franchise in 7 games.
As a Rangers fan you're spot on. While they made a lot of great moves this offseason, they haven't done enough to be true contenders yet. Will be interesting to see the rotation once guys like Leiter, Alexy, Otto, Roby and Winn are MLB ready. The moves they made this year are to have a competitive lineup for when they develop more pitching or bring more in.

I just realized the Mariners have 7 outfielders that could play in the majors.
Jesse Winker
Mitch Haniger
Julio Rodriguez
Kyle Lewis
Jarred Kelenic
Billy Hamilton
Taylor trammel
Lewis will probably be relegated to DH duties due to his knee injury, and won't be ready to start the season. Trammel might start the year in AAA.

The astros are gonna be a really good, everyone in their batting order is an all-star and their whole starting rotation is young stars. They have worked on their bullpen and it is underrated. Tbh the Yankees are overrated and will never beat the astros when it matters. I think that Jeremy Pena will be a young stud and might not ever be a Carlos Correa but could get close. If JV can perform at a cy young level then we will be even scarier. And in my opinion, we don’t need Greinke that much. Kyle tucker is a dark horse mvp and Yordan Alvarez could be a 40 homer batting title winner if he stays healthy. We need framber Valdez to take the next step and be really good. Ryan Pressly is one of the most underrated players in baseball and I don’t see him falling off anytime soon. And Jake Meyers has been a star in his short career so far and getting him back will be crucial. We don’t have many weaknesses on the field and are only weak position is catcher. We should have done more in the off-season by getting an average catcher which we didn’t. Christian Javier can be a star out of the bullpen and has nasty stuff. Enoli Paredes has good stuff and has been good at times but needs to work on control. Dusty baker has been an amazing coach and everything we’ve needed. Luis Garcia was great last year and the best team contesting us is the angels in my opinion. But I think we can beat them.

I love how far off the AL is so far this year compared to his predictions
Besides the AL west
I think my Dodgers are going all the way this year, they got the scariest lineup in the NL if not apl of MLB, 3 good starters in Buehler, Kershaw, and Urias, and our bullpen is pretty good with Kimbrel hopefully shutting it down but I think Treinen and Graterol could spot close for him now and then
I still remember when the Yankees were the worst team in baseball in 1990. So no matter how bad they may get this year, there’s no way they can be as bad as that team was. Heck, most of the home games in 1990 had almost no fans at the old Yankee Stadium.
Dodgers have the experience and the players... blue Jay's are inexperienced
I’m a Sox fan and the jays didn’t even make the playoffs last year. We made it to the Alcs with a worse roster. Also I live in Canada and the jays fans are the most annoying in the world. When I was watching the wc game last year all they were talking about was their lineup and it ruined the night even though we won. The dodgers looks better and they have more experience
Experience of losing big games/series though
@@LiamSFG405 playoff experience. Not buck Martinez talking about everyone in the world wants to play for the jays and how happy everyone is. First chance Robbie ray had a chance of leaving Toronto he left.
@@LiamSFG405 at least the dodgers are in the playoffs every year. Doubt your team is.
Springer is one of the most experienced tried tested and proven playoff performers in the game
As a jays fan hearing guys like yourself pick us to take it all is so surreal
Boy nailed the AL West. Then again, that division is so clearly separated it’s one of the easier ones to predict.
2023 will be:
Astros- 103-59 (#1 seed)
Mariners- 95-67 (top WC seed)
Rangers- 89-73 (no playoffs but in the race)
Angels- 80-82 (they’ll be good in the first half, trade Ohtani, and then suck when Trout gets hurt)
Athletics- 62-100 (stacked division and being easily the worst team in the AL helps them tank for the #1 pick)
I agree though I think the Astros will either win 95 games or 110
Red Sox being 4th in the AL east after beating cole and the Yankees in a big game & then absolutely mauling the rays in the ALDS is insane
Your right, 5th is much more fitting.
Jays to win the WS... VS any other team except the dodgers I could buy that.. Totally unbiased video !
Looking at the Yankees now the AL east prediction collapsed and the NL east with the Mets doing wonders
I’m totally bias but if the brewers could make a couple good moves at the deadline and if Yelich can bounce back I think they could really make some noise this year.
Definitely better than everyone gives us credit for
Not enough offense
I agree with most of your picks. I do think Seattle won't win 90 games again. They had such a huge negative run differential last year (-51). I even agree with most of your awards picks and playoffs. As a Dodger fan, I wouldn't be surprised to be in a great Series with Toronto, but I think it would go full 7. Although he's a rival, I'm super bummed about DeGrom. Maybe not as bummed as you, but you just have to appreciate his awesomeness on the mound.
Honestly, I’m gonna pick the White Sox vs Braves. Braves in 7 on a nail biting climax the likes we’ve never seen before.
My predictions:
AL MVP: Vladdy Guerrero
NL MVP: Bryce Harper
AL CY YOUNG: Gerrit Cole
NL CY YOUNG: Walker Buehler
AL ROY: Bobby Wit Jr
NL ROY: Bryson Stott
WS: Blue Jays vs Padres
Blue Jays win in 6
WS MVP: Bo Bichette
😤😁😁
1. Phillies
2. Mets
3. Braves
4. Marlins
5. Nationals
Sorry but I don’t see brave finishing second or first. Phil’s and Mets will battle it out for first place. Mets pitching health to decide. Or the Phil’s batting will take it.

aged like fine wine buddy! good at ur stuff!
Thanks Giraffe! Pretty good assessment.
AL East: I feel like you should put the Red Sox in third instead of the Yankees since I feel like they could miss the playoff
AL Central: Agree with everyone just I feel like the Guardians would end up in 5th place
AL West: ik the Astros lost Correa but I feel like the Mariners could go first place.
NL East: agree with everything but I feel like the Phillies could push to the wild card play off.
NL Central: brewers has good pitching but I feel like they would end up in second place since the cardinals could end up coming in first place.
NL West: agree with everything but I feel like there could be a chance of the Rockies coming in third and the Padres in fourth.
I like what my Orioles are doing under Elias. The offense should be good. Mancini another year away from Cancer, Mullins is great, Mountcastle should take a big step forward, hopefully Santander can stay healthy and find his 2020 form, and we also got solid guys like Jorge Mateo who was good in SD just couldn't get playing time Ramon Urias is having a solid spring and Austin Hays is solid as well. The only thing I need to see is, are ANY of these Young pitchers outside of gonna take that next step? Zac Lowther, Dean Kremer, Michael Bauuman, Keegan Akin, Tyler Wells, Bruce Zimmerman I just need one or two of these guys to show consistent quality stuff to pair with John Means and the up and coming Grayson and DL Hall.
Instead of the postseason in October I wish the MLB playoffs would begin in September
Simplifying the White Sox bullpen as just Hendricks, Bummer and Gravemen is selling them short. They have a train of good arms in that pen. The White Sox bullpen will be the strength of that team. I'm a Jay's fan fwiw
