yeah im with people saying that you can't pull people deep into a guided meditation regarding someone who triggers them, then reach an unexpected paywall. you deserve to get paid but you can find a more creative way than luring trauma survivors into an unresolved meditation then leaving them in a trauma response

Did it cut off for anyone else in closing? I was deep into the meditation and it stopped and told me to go somewhere else for the full video. It doesn't feel like a safe thing to cut off access to the closing of exercise and leave the person without resolution while they are in a deep and vulnerable state!

I actually saw the original meditation: it cuts off just as he is says “when it feels right, come back into the room” and he asks the audience to open their eyes

    Amazing visualisation.
I had the part that was highly annoyed by this persons behaviour- taking me back to triggers of childhood.
Then out exploded this part blue in nature- human but not-vomiting- it had been released.
It was much in protest when I asked it to walk behind me- but he did. I talked him through it and it finally felt safe. With me being the leader here.
    Felt empowered and liberated.
    Thank you❤

Right now, I can only increase awareness of the parts that are with me. But we like this meditation and will keep coming back to it.

    This isn’t a meditation, it’s a talk that’s cut too short.
Rather not have this type of content if you aren’t going to commit to sharing a finished piece.

If the video ends abruptly, and you were in a good space with the separation of your parts here are two things to do in closing. Number 1: Ask that part what they would rather be doing if they weren’t so burdened? It’s ok if they don’t know. Number 2: Thank that part for communicating with you and allowing space to happen.

I liked the ideas and images I was asked to try. What I didn’t appreciate was being left in the middle of the meditation. I would not have started it if I had known I would be dumped in an ad.

I tried this twice and I can't even come close to imagining what he's suggesting. I've tried it several times before with others and I just can't do it. So frustrating.

    • @leosashi5383

Maybe you need some help with a trained therapist, cause some parts of you may not be secure to be doing what is suggested here.
To accomplish anything in IFS, you need to be in Self energy. If you are frustrated or feel anything but Compassion, Curiosity, Courage etc, it means it's a part blended with you. At that point, first acknowledge that part, befriend it, recognize it.
For example you could tell it how much you can understand it can feel frustrating not to understand or experiment what he wants to show you.
You could also try to locate in or on or around your body where that frustrated part is located. Once you did that, you can ask that part to take a step back, to trust you and separate from you just for a while so you can do that meditation. If it is willing to let you space, go back to meditation (you could have paused it).
      Tell me if it helps

Not good if it cuts off at crucial point. They must have gone out of business leaving stuff like this unattended.

Dr. Anderson, it would help if you held still while doing a guided meditation. Your walking back and forth created noises that were very distracting for me and made it hard to concentrate on what you were saying.
