Jason Svoboda the auto set is so dumb lol, they literally just tint the foil and call it an x parallel. Not a special set at all imo, the supers can be cool and some of the cut autos are sick, that’s all.

Can someone help me to understand the following concept...how do these cards hold value or have any value when the players are signing thousands of cards each year and sold across dozens of products...doesnt the true value of an autograph come from how many exist?....I dont mean this as a criticism, but as someone who collected 30 years ago around when signatures and inserts just started being a thing and hasn't purchased a pack of cards since yet fondly remembers it and likes watching people open up crazy products after randomly learning maybe five months ago videos like this exist, that such products exist and how big the hobby seems to have come back
It's worthless crap. They aren't selling baseball cards anymore. It's a new market where the false perception is that these autographs are valuable and collectible, when 99% of them are shit.
Topps makes products like these for people that just want to jump in line and not actually have to have luck when pulling a huge prospect auto. You pay the price to get a guaranteed prospect set rather than just being lucky. It why I got lucky and pulled two Wander Franco 2019 Bowman Chrome Green Shimmers /99 out of blaster retail boxes last year and will be worth more than anything they put of him in these products. Same with the other prospects.
Topps is making this product to enrich themselves. The card business is very seedy at every level. They don't care about the consumer. It's just about making money for themselves.

$21K for a $30 Spahn cut and a bunch of prospect autos that aren’t guaranteed to pan out..Vladdy Jr and Yordan 1/1s aren’t very alluring to me bc I feel like for the price of this case there should be more possibilities for that 1/1...honestly I think this product is dreadful for that price tag...hopefully that event is amazing
Look on eBay what Spahn’s cut autos go for. You’ll be unpleasantly surprised...he’ll be lucky to get over $100..there’s no way that Spahn should be on that checklist for a $21K product...
It’s basically playing lotto scratch offs to make any money on these expensive cases. Out of 100 cases theirs probably 5 that make their money back or more then what they spent if that. Crapshoot
