yep, dit is messing (brass) en geen brons, brons smelt op (afhankelijk van de legering) op zo'n 1030 graden, en moet worden verhit tot zo'n 1200 om te kunnen gieten. Dat halen ze bij lange na niet met die oven. Maar messing smelt al bij 850 graden en kan worden gegoten bij zo'n 950 graden, dat is wel haalbaar. Granaat hulzen zijn trouwens per definitie van een messing legering aangezien die niet gegoten maar gevormd worden door extrusie e.d.

Myanmar is next to China, Thailand and Bangladesh. Some friends traveled there with local guide and they like it very much. Beautiful country, friendly people, very save... They show many pictures, if i had money i would like to travel there
