Honestly I wrestled with he new Live Bearded butter when they change formulations and manufacturers but I slowly learned that so much less is more and it's pretty damn good stuff and NEVER have those grain issues! Also agree with the fragrance consistency. They do a great job of developing their fragrances that performs well across different products too. Their seasonal fragrance release game is off the charts as well!

The only difference is that I don’t apply it at night because of the beeswax. I don’t need to style when I go to sleep. I only apply in the morning. I can’t say it’s my favorite because I don’t use it during the day much, but there’s not denying, it’s probably the ONLY butter I would wear in the day on the rare of I do. I’m a butter at bed guy, so I like a smoother butter, but you are 100% correct their butter is always the same and it stands out. Good video

I recently got the Canyon oil and butter and it was great, I sometimes added a few drops of castor oil to make the oil heavier in consistency.. Had to stop using both since we found out my wife was badly allergic to it. Probably the fragrances... She's also pregrant so I keep away from beard products for now... Wishing I had tried this formula before they changed it. Supposedly they are using a non double walled container on their new stuff because the way they make it it's supposed to not melt in transport. I like a bit of hold during the day and now I'm not sure if this is the one for me

Nice video Matt I to like a little hold with my butter Cervantes has a little tacky hold to it but I also use broke ass butter it is good also but for the one that makes my beard the softest is alley cat I mix in a little balm with those 2 works great 🔥👍
Man if you like Live Bearded then you need to try BEARD OF GOD beard butter. The only butter I use I gave everything else away . I need hold for these coarse grey hairs. Try it man ! Try the Warm Pipe Tobacco one .

Big fan of Live Bearded.. but totally disagree with the consistency. Last 3 butters I've ordered have been totally different. One is more waxy and sticky like you show... one is more creamy with NO sticky or tacky feel and melts easier, and the 3rd is somewhere in the middle. But all 3 totally different. If you look at their butter reviews you will see some that share the same experience as me. Just goes to show the big dogs have the same issues as the underdogs. I do agree with none of them ever being grainy, always smooth. But the tackiness (in my experience) varies greatly. Still love the company, personally I don't like the sticky or tacky feel, I figure I could use a balm for that.

It’s a 6 guard on the sides trimmed with the grain and then the largest guar on the chin trimmed with the guard. I’ve been getting a ton of questions on this beard length so I may do a video on the next trim.
Is there a specific scent you prefer for bedtime? Live Bearded Legend was the first beard butter I tried. I find that, for my beard, it does a great job of nourishing my beard at night more so than Detroit Grooming’s beard butter.

This has more hold than the original formula. I find it the perfect combination of hold and conditioning.

Never cared for live bearded butter. Always seemed really sticky almost like lotion consistency to me.
I will say it’s tacky, but not a lotion. Try mixing some beard oil with it to change the consistency.

Two of my favorite scents! A little goes a long way with this butter so start with less than you would normally use.
Both are great scents. You're going to love them.

Honestly, I use all of them at night because the scents aren’t offensive and overwhelming. I use the 1880, Canyon, and Legend a ton at night.
