Hi, this is probably a silly question: if you cut paper with the laser, does the edge become black/brown, as this is essentially burning a hole in the paper? Or is there a way / paper type to do it without the burnt edges?
Hola amigo, porque cuando enciendo la máquina no deja de quemar el laser
Hello! I am trying to figure out how to focus/dial in the laser for crisp clear engraving. Do you know how to do this? Thank you!
Totem S 40W / NEJE Master 2S Max / Atomstack A5 Pro / Ortur Laser Master 2 pro
I found the four. would like to know which one of the favorites is and which one is best for small knives, normal kitchen knives, silver key rings, zippo, silver engraved bracelet for children. thank you in advance for the help and information I will get. nice day
Can you please tell me how you attached the mother board
Can it be used on leather goods? Like a wallet for example?
I saw you had the HK logo saved on your computer. I carry an HK everyday.
You are very hardworking man.... Hats off to you..bro ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank u sir! Really appreciate it 🤜🤛
❤️❤️
Cuales parámetros son para grabar aluminio y plastico
Can it engrave in steel and 316 stainless steel?
I have one like this but I can not for the life of me figure out how to turn the laser on to make it burn. We can make it move like it's burning but the laser stays red never turns blue. How can I make it burn?
Hi, I bought a Totem S engraver machine in Banggood, threes months ago. I have never been able to use it.
I got everything is connected and installed correctly (I believe).
When I connect the engarver to a USB port of my computer I can see a red cross.
I also open GRBL program, select the right USB Port and 115200 Baudios.
The problem starts when I press the Connection botton. The program always show me the message: "error conecting your engraver".
I can´t find the problem.
Hello, how to show the materials list before starts? Thanks.
I purchase this machine to engrave stainless steel blanks. I've been trying and nothing. How do I engrave a stainless steel tag?
Per incidere inox si può fare che parametri usi grazie
wish they wouldnt use the input wattage rather than the output. Its a 5w laser
Software can be used on iMac?
HEYA CAN THIS AUTOMATICALLY CUT CUSTOM SHAPES DESIGNS AND LETTERS ON FABRIC MATERIAL? LIKE DENIM POLYESTER LEATHER, THICK SWEATER FABRIC? ID LIKE TO CREATE DESIGN IN A SOFTWARE AND SEND IT TO THE MACHINE TO CUT ON FABRIC. CAN IT DO THAT? INSIDE MY HOUSE?
Does it have endstops & belt tensioning options? How much bit does the board have?
Unfortunately nope
@@Sameft From your video, the machine does have a belt tensioner for X-axis.
@@prolites7600 Yes correct, You can adjust it only on the top axis, the sides are only adjustable by unscrewing the actual belt and manual put some tension to it!
What kind of protection glasses do you recommend for it? I dont trust the supplied ones :)
I think because of the real output voltage the supplied ones are ok! Not sure, but i think you will be ok !! :D
I friend.. I buy one equally like yours. In software only apear lazer at 20w but this lazer is till 40w. How we change to more power? Best regards
You could absolutely upgrade the laser to a more powerful unit. This is not an off the shelf item...you will need to do your research and probably fabricate brackets to hold the laser unit in the proper location. I plan to do this but am just getting started with this one. BTW, this laser optical power output is about 5.5W...40W is the total power rating.
Hi ! Do you think it would be able to completely cut through the piece of foam ? I'm looking for something that would actually cut it, not just engrave. Any chance that you test it with several settings to see if that would make it ? Thanks !
Hello 👋,how thick you want to cut? I can try and see if that would work for u!
@@Sameft Wow great, thanks ! I'd like to cut through 20 mm polyurethane foam (40 kg/m2) which looks a lot like the one you tried with. The plan is to make 30 mm diameter cylinders which I'm now cutting one by one with a hot wire.
@@tompi don't waste you time and money with this. It's basically an expensive toy and will never cut your foam. The laser output is only 5.5w compared to a k40 co2 laser who output is 40w. The 40w figure here is the total power consumed by the device. Its false advertising.
hi, can you send me pic of how you connect the wires on the laser, on the board and on head of laser, thank you
sure buddy, where do u need to upload it?
Can I do on metal
engrave in gold?
Hi my friend. You are here now?i have some questions if you have time. Thank you:)
i think your focus is not ok?
What settings do you use for the piece of metal? It doesn’t say metal in the list that consisted of arcylic bamboo etc? Thanks
Nothing special, i choose from the Config the Ortur 5.5W that has the settings for the metal! Do you have the laser engraver?
@@Sameft yes, we are testing it right now, currently we have a few squares in our wooden table, the red crosshair isn’t correct so we are trying to figure out where to put our piece of metal
@@jillmolkenboer7706 Ohhh ahahha , i see! Try the ''Map'' Type button before actually engraving, it shows excactly the square it will engrave in...
Also try to add underneath a scrap piece of metal , in order to avoid any damage to your table...
@@Sameft yes, but then we engrave the square haha
Hi, do you think it has resolution to engrave a coin-size stainless steel piece? Thanks
I have tried stainless steel, but has to be coated with marker first, then just erase after engraver. I use M4 power, line to line tracing, 9.000 lines/mm and use the 5.5W Power and just choose stainless steel.
Yes, absolutely
that red cross light is the guide??
Yeap
@@Sameft how do you enable it?
does this work with light burn?
Yes

Olá, grava em aço carbono?
Did not show cutting ability. As a laser cutter.
Can I hook a wood router drill to this as well?
Nhaa I don't think so man, it is pretty sturdy but I don't think it will hold that stable a wood router, you will also need to attach it securely on a metal bed!
@@Sameft Would you recommend a wood router?
miss leading . Its a 5w out put laser.
Is it? How can i prove that? If it is misleading i should ask for my money back!
@@Sameft it is also on their website. even that is a 40W laser, the output is not even 7.5W.
SAMboxing it is actually a 5.5 watt laser, mentioned on their website as well. Also, for Diode lasers, all companies advertise with the power, it draws from the power socket when working, not the power it cuts/engraves on the material.
Only CO2 lasers can output 40watts of power or even more and can cut easily through even with materials like wood as well, but they have a bigger size and cost more comparing to small desktop Diode engravers like the "Two Trees".
Specifications for the Two Trees can be found on their website here:
www.twotrees3dprinter.com/#/app/productxq/111
This is all true. You need to be ultra careful with excessive power lasers especially at these high, mostly invisible outputs. 5W is a shit ton over the legal amount in a consumer device. They are usually in the
Mumbler.
What an amateur review.. jesus
Your videos are so professional.
