DESCRIPTION
I am a fan of Daft Punk and in my opinion their album “Random Access Memories” is a true gem. I decided to arrange “Lose Yourself To Dance” because I love the fusion between magical riff played by Nile Rodgers, vocals by Pharrell Williams and of course epic robot voices.
In order to play 4 voices (guitar riff, vocals, chords, percussion) I had to simplify the guitar riff and reduce it to just 2 notes, which tanks to the usage of a “Spider Capo with harmonic gloves” can become high pitched and remain more separated from the rest.
If you have watched the original video by Daft Punk, you might remember how everybody is wearing reflecting jackets and electric guitars, all in silver color. For our version, Meg and I chose to have gold as a main color. The problem was: how to make my acoustic guitar glittery without painting it or ruining it? Well, since my guitar was already covered in a special black tape because of my previous video, we carefully placed glue all over the tape and then covered it with glitter! 😊
Preparing the guitar and vacuuming all the glitter took many hours, but we had fun and we hope you will enjoy the result of our effort. Thank you for your constant support!

Everyone goes on about the skills, but can we talk about how this guy is also a god damn metronome. That last run where he's doing quavers against the high notes was insane and the BPM didn't even budge!

I listened to first 30 seconds of this, opened Spotify on my Notebook, searched for it, clicked on it and it started playing in perfect sync with the RUclips video. You have no idea how amazing that sounded.
His music has a unique appeal, you just can't listen once and casually move on. He mastered the art of hammer-ons and pull-offs and took it to a whole new level, such skills are desired by all guitarists. Whenever I listen to him, he leaves me awestruck, each and every time. Maybe that is how we recognize legends.
Why does this not have millions of views? That was beautiful.

I was amazed by this cover so I downloaded it to my phone to listen to. First time I listened to it I thouhht no way it's a one guitar cover or he must used a looper to record it and I rewatched the video and was blown away again.

Luca this piece is good, you have to hear it atleast four times in a row. First time got waves of goosebumps, second time got lost in it, third time the heart just broke into laughter and the forth round brought tears to the eyes. Writing this comment during the fifth continuous play. Your skill is out of this world, other worldy and literally god like. It's so good that you just want to laugh cry feel joy and feel sad at the same time.
