- In this video I have discussed about Cold Test, its indications, clinical protocol, various materials used for performing the test and clinical correlation of the test.
Note** A response to cold test indicates vital pulp whether the pulp is normal or abnormal. Unlike heat test (response is localised or diffuse) the patient quickly points out to the tooth where cold test is being done.

What's the temperature of hot water used in heat test and of ice in case of cold test??

inference of the test is not discussed so plz add that one too
Could you please explain
1) why only cold test for full covrg restorations and not heat or electric testing?
2) if we don't have CO2snow at our dispense, can ice sticks be used instead on full covrg restoration?
3) why do we start from posterior most tooth specifically any reason for that?
Or could u please suggest in which book could I find these answers

My dentist done it to me twice on the same tooth with little peace of blue color and after a period it starts to hurt with no stimulate could this test done any damage?

@@SaiNaveenKumarPilliPTBD18 sorry to bother u doc but just to make sure it has been done twice in the same session is there any possibility that he exceeded the time limit on my front tooth and the temperature is extreme too, and why even after about two weeks it still hurts with burn sensation from inside and increased while laying down and to add to this after the test I drunk a hot soup once and it got really hurt sorry for being long and I appreciate your corporation
