Trade deals r why we have $399 flat screens vs $699 for same one. I for one would be happy paying more if it means keeping those low skilled jobs here. But that it "destroyed the entire economy" is misinformed. Trade deals are conscious choices to sacrifice (theoretical numbers) 1.5M low skilled manufacturing jobs, in exchange for 500,000 higher and mid to higher skill jobs and lower priced products, at the expense of those 1.5M low skilled and paid jobs.
