We had emblems on the door windows that said "SAFE PLACE"..... kids could go into the school building if they needed to. Those very same schools have bars on them everywhere. If schools start locking doors how are kids supposed to be able to go into the building that say "SAFE PLACE" if they can't get in. That's defeating the purpose.

It's very real. I was a 28 year old widow with a newborn, and ended up having a heart attack from grief. I was lucky and survived. It's absolutely infuriating when people deny BHS.

Want to know the saddest part? Their son just graduated with my daughter from the marines. He is an official Marine whom now has no parents at such a young age.
Unimaginable heartbreaking for all their children!! I pray that God wraps His loving arms around them now and always!
