Some years may require the module to be coded after install. You can fix this by taking to a certified BMW mechanic, Dealer or you can call the guys at BimmerTech and they can code for you remotely but will need a laptop and ENET cable for this.

On my 535 I was getting errors. Condensation forming inside one headlight. . I noticed a small crack on the front of the lens. Just to experiment, I pulled the top headlight circle cover off, and also the back circle cover near the front of front tire in wheel well and put a hair dryer in those holes, moved it around a bit, let it run for a good long time. I then covered the crack with some clear tape. My warnings went away, I am seeing if it lasts or not. Some might try this before spending any money. Anyway, thank you for the very detailed video!

I used UltraClear roof sealant which is super clear, so flexible to apply with a small brush, drys clean and fast, can be applied on wet surfaces, it's very tuff and once it's dried it's very hard to notice it's there but does an amazing job in resealing headlights! a brand new BMW OE TMS control module from the dealer will cost an arm and a leg, $700 at FCPeuro, I got it for $200 on ebay original BMW TMS module new, i was fortunate to find it at the right time! I had a problem with the headlights getting water in them early last winter a year ago. When I say water I mean about half a cup or more just in one headlight, but both were getting water in them. No way I could afford just one from BMW, much less two. It took about three days to dry them out after removal. I considered just replacing the lenses but instead went to the local auto parts store and bought a couple tubes of FLOWABLE WINDSHIELD SEALANT. The stuff almost flows like water into cracks and crevices. I carefully applied it all the way around the headlight lenses both and reinstalled them. It flowed well enough that it can't be seen. I also installed both new modules and new headlight bulbs because one burned out from being wet.
Just a bit back I began getting the same messages about the adaptive headlight malfunction again. I also notice I am getting another message about the headlight vertical leveling being inoperative. As I recall, I only gave about $50 or so each for the modules so they could have been inferior parts. I am getting the messages more often now so I guess I will get more modules. Poor design from BMW.

2011 to 2013 you can use a Chinese TMS with same part number and can easily be fully coded to your headlight with everything working perfectly but anything later 2014 F10's and up and the ECU of the F10 will reject the any non-original TMS module and will NOT be able to code it and will ONLY accept original BMW OE TME control modules to be coded successfully!

For anyone seeing this video in the future...
My issue is drivers side halos are out. It suffered for awhile with the condensation issue. After troubleshooting with ISTA-D I found out about the module. The module controls the angel eyes and every other function (cornering lights, auto leveling, etc.) of the lights. My headlight works fine and its the only thing that does on that side. I brlieve BMW made it that way so the msin light would always work regardless of the module. I bought the module (dont remember the part no. Part no. will be different depending on the light package you have installed (bi xenon S524A or LED S552A)). My connector inside my headlight was so corroded that the module difnt work. Even after coding. So i have to buy a new headlight. I will report back here after its replaced to let you guys know if it worked.
