Caleb Cologna Even if you do like the artstyle, do you really think it fits the game's tone? Do you even think it fits the gameplay? LA was aggressively tile-based, and you can see how badly that translates into the new artstyle when they showed off one of those rooms in Key Cavern with all of the conveyor belt floors. You can also see how much slower it makes the game look during the Tail Cave miniboss fight. I don't know if it was actually slowed down or not, but the action looks a lot slower.
Angolin I found the original’s saddened and mysterious (if not subtle) tone worked well because it was contrasted by the cutesy gameboy sprites and played with the expectations they formed. It made the world feel all the more precious.
the original black and white links awakening was my first zelda game. and it was awesome. i played it on the gameboy colour and everything on screen turned Red and Green, just like when i played pokemon Red.
Your original Links Awakening video was one of the first few videos I've seen of you back in the day- your Ballad of the Wind Fish segment in that video was so haunting! I'm glad that you went back and completed a full cover of the beautiful and tragic song!

For so long I was really sad that this game flew under the radar and never got the musical tributes the others in the series have, so it really warms my heart to see awesome covers like this!

Awesome awesome cover man! Link's Awakening IS definitely truly my favorite Zelda game, and favorite game of all time. I know it's a tall order to ask/wish someone would do, but it'd be sick if you or someone would be able to take on the entire soundtrack to Links Awakening. I personally have gotten really into modifying the music in the game and have been looking for rock remixes to as many tracks as possible possible of different levels and parts of the game and replacing the music with remixes pretty much making a complete custom experience. Anyway... Definitely cool covers of every song you do. Definitely a fan of your work 😎👍

... Why? It looks like exactly the same game, but with the crappy ALBW artstyle. I liked ALBW, but it definitely wasn't for the art direction.
