My shave yesterday was. Karve Stainless Steel with the safety bar G plate, which was the first time I had used the G plate. Gillette Super Stainless (Green) blade. Wickham Magnum soap and matching post shave balm. Yaqi Chianti 24mm synthetic brush.

Nice shave as usual. My SOTD was Stirling Lime w/ the PAA Chill Mill, Rockwell 6S with plate R4 and a Nacet blade. Post-shave was alum, Dickinson's witch hazel, Nivea Men Creme, and Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic splash. This shave was my first time using a Nacet and I must say I found it very similar to the Astra SP. Looks like I have a new second favorite blade. Get well and I'll see you next shave.

Great shave. Austere August is finally over. I got my SOTD ready for when I return on a September day this week which will consist of the Gillette Tech head on a Maggards handle with a Gillette Platinum blade, Omega 10066 brush, SW Carpathia soap, and the AV Musk. I’m just so happy looking forward to using whatever I want again, and there’s no other better feeling than that. Have a good one

Very nice copper razor but l have the brass and that's good enough. Lord platinum are good blades, well l like them. Love the brush but the knot is too floppy but usable 👍👍😉

Yes I like the Lord Platinum blades, I just wouldn't have chosen to use it in the Karve. Just a personal thing that's all.
