I’m so happy I found this RUclips video. My husband and I had section 106 row 28 and only could see 20% of the Sphere screen. We ended up changing our seats to the 300 level. Wow what amazing sphere experience we could see 100% of the screen from section 305. IMO 100 level is really bad
your welcome, I posted this info because i wanted to warn people that level 100 seats are bad. When i bought my tickets they(ticketmaster, Sphere) never said obstructed view on tickets. i was never informed i had limited view of the screen. December 15 2023 U2 concert
We had row 22 in section 103, and could see the entire front half of the Sphere to the very top. Was great! As close to the band as you can get without being on the floor. Anything behind us would not have been good though.
Hello how are you? How did you manage to make the switch? I ask because I made the same mistake and bought in section 105, row 29, seats 07 and 08. On the official website, they did not inform us that from these seats we would not have a complete view of the sphere. If you can help, I would really appreciate it. Kind regards
True. The thing is every seat has a perfect view of the stage. It’s just because of the unique features of the venue people are more interested in seeing the ceiling.
Well, the stage is completely viewable from everywhere so that’s what you want. All the other stuff is just fluff. It’s like a giant video game and you can come to RUclips and watch all of that stuff after the actual concert. Some people have vertigo or some people don’t like heights. How would you have had them build it? You had to have balconies. The balconies weren’t going to be see-through… So how exactly were you going to have them build it where there was no obstruction? They could’ve taken out a whole bunch of seats but then what would that have done?
@@josephcalitri5710 so how are you going to build it then? It’s a freaking sphere you can see the stage from everywhere… All your complaining about is missing your giant video game screen. SMH you wouldn’t have known what to do at a concert in the 70s or 80s. And that’s why you are Gen Z.
I like these seats personally as someone who is afraid of heights.. going to see Dead & Co in June and i’m pretty nervous about having tickets in the lower 400’s but this looks actually manageable and has an amazing view of the band which is most of why i’m going to be there 😅
Yeah, I’ll be there in July for Dead & Co in section 103 row 23. This doesn’t look bad, you can still see most of it and you have a good view of the band. It should be advertised as obstructed view though. If I had known the overhand was that far I would have gotten something closer. Whatever though, this will be a great time regardless. Have a great show.
@@spendyourwholelifetrying from everything I saw when I bought tickets, it does tell you it’s an obstructive view or partially obstructed. It doesn’t matter to me because the people I’m going with have vertigo and this is actually perfect for us. We are there to see the band anyway. I don’t think there’s a bad seat. This place is amazing. if you’re going to see the show instead of a concert that’s different. And I’m not paying $900 a ticket.

yes but the price is not the same. even 3 times more starting from number 23 compared to 30. I will go to see the concert on February 2nd and I live in France. the trip, the hotel for 4 days and the concert ticket are already expensive. I go mainly to see U2 and to stay in Las Vegas, for two people, the tickets on the upper floors are too expensive. I just need to see the screen behind it and especially U2 with the concert
This is just about exactly where my wife and I sat. We paid almost $1000 per ticket for obstructed view seats which was not disclosed anywhere. What a disappointment.
Wish my family saw this before they booked a $4k trip for row 35, literally saw 30 feet of the screen. And the grade is much flatter so if your behind any above average height male you won’t see the stage. Absolute blasphemy for the seats to be marketed as ‘partial obstruction,’ completely fake advertising. It should say 50-90%+ visual and sound obstruction. The sound was very clear but not loud. This area needs to be markably cheaper and designated for visually/sound sensitive/handicapped. Thank you for posting this video, the word needs to get out until customers are fully aware what the fuck to expect. Disgraceful.
Your virtuous "just be grateful" comment is pathetic. This venue was designed with the screen being a major attraction and the fact over 4000 seats have varying degrees of that screen obstructed is absurd. You acting like people shouldn't point this out is nauseating.
Your sarcasm is pathetic. The entire purpose of this venue is audio and visual. It's a unique setting for a concert and the screen is a major part of that. Have the screen almost entirely obstructed is absurd and you geeks who act like it's not are nauseating
It's beyond pathetic that they designed this with roughly 4000 obstructed views especially when they're all in the lower "prime" sections. I'm so glad I was online opening night watching videos in real time. I had section 102, Row 26 and I immediately upgraded that night to Section 103, Row 12. Then just sold the original tickets. 3 weeks later when we arrived at the show I was so incredibly happy I did that because Row 26 was absolute joke. The obstruction is so awful.
Funny I got to pay so much less than everyone else to see the stage, which is why I’m there not to see a glorified video game behind them. SMH you people need to get your priorities straight. This is just laughable.
Not entirely true. As you can see in the video the further back you go the less view of the screen you have. If you go too high as in sections 300 and 400 it's like watching a movie. Section 200s are great, the 100 sections below Row 19 are great and General Admission is great.
Your virtue signal is ridiculous. The entire point of this venue is to provide the ultimate in audio and visual experience. It's uniique venue. A massive part of the appeal of this venue is the screen. You acting like you're cooler because you're there to see the band, as if others aren't, is pathetic.
Imagine paying zero attention to a specifically produced visual performance concert in a completely unique venue to stare at a band that's been touring for 40 years.
Imagine being so addicted to video and visuals, and not paying attention to the actual band and listening to the music that you complain about an incredible view of the band. Y’all need to get your priorities straight… Oh wait you’re millennials and Gen Z you don’t have priorities. Excuse me.

Had seats close to that section for Phish, not one single complaint.. Your right up on eye level with the band.. and yes, you do miss out on some of the visuals, if this was my only view for a show, it's still better than any other show you'll see that's not Red Rock, or the Gorge.. The sheer splendor of it all.. Ticket prices were absolutely insane, I hope Phish got the lion's share of it, but I have zero complaints about these seats.. Just take two seconds.. walk down the rows to the bottom where you can see the full thing, marvel at it, take your videos, the go back to your seat and enjoy the band, same as I did..
