Thank you Oli for, for the most part, vocalizing every individual answer for those of us who are either visually impaired or treat it like a podcast by only listening while we're doing stuff
honestly it's the best addition, I normally would listen while walking places and basically had to drop this show for the most part because i'd constantly have to pull my phone out to see what they were talking about
The craziest part of this, is that i absolutely love the Miz, and believed you, lmfao. In my head I'm like, "well, maybe he has some good points here, yeah!'
I love Oli being mad about Cena but still ranking Punk high when his most famous WWE matches are against Cena and the moments Punk are known for the most(MITB and Pipebomb) involve Cena
Yeah, because those punk moments are ABOUT cena being bad, it's not like cena complimented punks work by doing good things (watch back the mitb build and cena is doing some truly awful promos), punk was good because he was saving us from cena
Sullivan is the best! they have a sister board game channel called No Rolls Barred, and Sully features in a lot of their board game club episodes and is an absolute joy. Also, be sure to check out their TLC episode of Worst Promos Ever, his rant on Steiner Math is so funny.
Here’s hoping Oli has JBL on his list, would kill to see Tempest and Sully freak out over it! Edit: didn’t get JBL, but Tempest getting mad about HHH is a worthy compromise
Fun fact! I was at the show CM Punk won his WWE Championship and the show he lost his WWE Championship. Weird to be at both book ends of that 400+ day run
Tempest and Sullivan speaking the truth. Cena has had so many memorable moments and feuds with the wwe title. The bloody i quit match with jbl, feuding with aj styles, the endless feud with orton that had some really wild and fun matches (fight me, im right), against Punk at mitb etc. Dude earned his spot
@@shortesnameofalltime You will when you consider that most people of last 20 years on this List either had their best wwe championship match with Cena or jist spent their careers trying to become Cena.
I will agree that Cena was overbooked and won more times than he should have, but it is objective that Cena was the guy for WWE in the 2000s and 2010s. His third run with the belt in particular is legendary. He held the title for 380 days; had great matches and programs with Umaga, Michaels, and Orton and was a draw for paper views, merchandise, and live attendance, AND, even though Cena buried the Nexus, Bray Wyatt and Alex Riley, his programs with Punk, Owens, Styles and Rollins made them stars in the WWE.
9:30 - This whole exchange is great, but Tempest giving a look of disappointment in that Oli came up with a better comeback than he had, makes it perfect.
Thanks for starting to verbally say what’s on peoples boards! I put these on in the background when I’m doing my skin care routine (Aus Timezone so these come out in the evening) so it’s a big help hearing what’s on peoples lists! Love you guys, your work is awesome
Hogan had fantastic matches in Japan. He came up in WWE during a time where 5 star classics weren’t what they were pushing. He was a huge presence, charismatic, bright, cartoon character come to life.
Fun fact The Iron Man match between Kurt Angle and Brock Lesner on smackdown. They were supposed to arrive at the arena at 1 PM. kurt did not show up until 530pm because he was dealing with the death of his sister. he had taken twenty oxy, the day prior and woke up took fifteen more and did that one hour match.
I find it so funny that this is the anniversary edition, and today is my birthday. I'll take this as a little bday treat as I lay down before I have to do a performance. Thanks guys. Your videos are always so fun and entertaining. You got me back into wrestling. Thank you for that! ^v^
Even including the Reign of Terror, HHH may have been the best heel wrestler in the WWE. My brother and I couldn't wait to see him get destroyed in the ring, even if his promos convinced me to want to change the channel.
I appreciate that while you don't personally enjoy some of the people on your list (for valid reasons), you still give them credit where credit is due. And I love that Sullivan and Tempest are guaranteed to lose their minds on this show.
Cena arguably had the most great world title matches in WWE history. You can credit his opponents and booking in his favor but that still happened. Triple H's 2000 reign was incredible too for Sullivan's pick.
Next WM, Cody gets hit by a car, allowing Rock to pin him and win the title. Sullivan steps out of the vehicle and cuts a promo on Cody’s prone body, “I did it for the Rock!” He says, but Dwayne is already leaving, shaking his head as Sully begs for his approval
The math didn't make sense until I checked the video from last year. All 3 hosts put the same wrestler as their Number One pick, giving him a perfect 30 point score to carry into this one. Awesome to see!
John Cena is one of the best Champions. Y’all hated him. I didn’t. Rapping Cena, Color Trunks Cena, Super Cena, I enjoyed all of it. He’s my number two.
I love these episodes, seeing how different people rank them, and how happy when there is a match. I would love to see an episode of 10 worst fails of factions and 10 worst fails of individuals - meaning they had the potential to be great but WWE failed them. Example, The Nexus for the faction list, Riccochet and Cesaro for individuals.
Finally caught up with this episode, and I'm glad you did it, because a video I wanted to do ages ago about this series now carries more weight. BUT... you guys need some help with the math, because you got it wrong! Austin did win with 54, but here's the ACTUAL new everything: (w/ pts from the first trio + pts from the 2nd trio & # of total votes broken down) 1) Steve Austin 54 (30 + 24, 6 votes) 2) Roman Reigns 30 (9 + 21, 6 votes) 3) The Rock 29 (16 + 13, 5 votes counting Oli's gaff, which I'll discuss later, doesn't affect the argument) 3) CM Punk 29 (13 + 16, 5 votes) 5) Bret Hart 26 (12 + 14, 4 votes - Who did you not count from last time, guys?! TEMPEST, HIRE ME TO DO THE MATH, BRET GOT SCREWED AGAIN!) 6) Bruno Sammartino 22 (11 + 11, 5 votes) 6) Kurt Angle 22 (11 + 11, 4 votes) 8) Brock Lesnar 21 (15 + 6, 4 votes) 9) Hulk Hogan 17 (12 + 5, 3 votes) 9) HHH 17 (0 + 17, 2 votes, you broke a perfectly good argument, Sully & Oli, thanks) 11) John Cena 16 (7 + 9, 4 votes) 11) Daniel Bryan 16 (14 + 2, 3 votes) 12) Edge 11 (5 + 6, 3 votes) 13) Randy Savage 10 (3 + 7, 2 votes) 14) Bob Backlund 7 (7 + 0, 1 vote) 15) Seth Rollins 1 (0 + 1, 1 vote) 15) Pedro Morales 1 (0 + 1, 1 vote) 15) AJ Styles 1 (0 + 1, 1 vote)
I think a top 10 list of "top 10 world title reigns" could be interesting. Alongside "top 10 worst reigns.. (Luther..Roman..)" For instance Batista probably wouldn't be in my top 10 overall champions, but his first world title reign is brilliant.
Now that was a great video! Can we have Tempest on move videos losing his mind to wrestling opinions he doesn’t agree with? Oh and Happy Birthday ghost of Pete!
John Cena deserves a top 10 spot imo. His first win was great and the run was decent for the time. And he held down 2 of the worst periods for wwe in recent memory. He def deserves a spot in top 10
One thing that’s really frustrating is a lot of the classic and even modern or current greats are better wrestlers than they are champions… Like Bryan, stone cold and the rock are legends with or without the belts but Punk’s reign made him into a different type of performer that really made him shine
I’d love to see an episode where they do the best returns! Whether from injury or time away or whatever! I immediately think of HHH returning from his quad injury, Cena at Royal Rumble, Cody at WM 38 Night 1, CM Punk at Survivor Series WarGames 2024 and Edge at the 2021 Rumble!
