Highlights
🚙 The soft top looks wavy when folded back, while the hardtop stays consistently flat.
🎒 The soft top has limited space for storage, while the hardtop has plenty of room for cargo and a cargo shelf.
🔒 The hardtop provides better security for belongings in the rear cargo area.
🙉 The hardtop is much quieter than the soft top, allowing for normal conversation levels while driving.
Great video and a great hard top! I LOVE mine!
Thank you Mitchell!🙌🏻 Glad you are loving it!
Decibel ratings at the same speed would be helpful. I have never thought it was too loud, had to shout at other passengers, or crank the music - but I could see it being nice to have things quieter.
We have that planned for future videos! Once you get up to 80 mph, the soft top is very loud.
Excellent video. Well done. Informative.
I stay in LA , topless 80 percent of the time! 🔥🔥
❤very nice video thanks
Yup, I need an ADV Hardtop ASAP!
We look forward to doing business with you!
I have s soft top and also have a ADV top on order. One thing im going to miss is flipping the soft top open in about 15 seconds, something I've been doing a lot of last. It's really a pretty good soft top, but looking forward to the ADV.
Soft top is for summer time and hard top is for winter...the hard top is the better choice !
Damn, I might have to get one. How dare you guys make such a compelling product! Looking forward to further reviews! Also, can we order these through shops so they can install it alongside roof rack? Not sure how that works.
Yeah, how dare we 😉 Yes you can order through our dealer network: www.advfiberglass.com/pages/dealers
Thank you for the comparison young man. Which top would be softer?
Our pleasure! In regards to softer, what are you referring to?
I have the soft top, wish the hard tops were better priced.
A DB reading inside the Bronco, preferably same model on the same highway would be a quantitative rather than subjective comparison.
I am extremely interested in a top that provides a significantly quieter ride at highway speed.
Comparison in sound comes in the 4th video release on 6/13. It will be a comparison between our hardtop and the OEM hardtop. We plan to do the same comparison with the soft top as well.
@@advfiberglass Will look forward to this video.
Next Video:
Factory Ford Hard Top vs ADV Hard Top.
Throw in some decibel meter readings too. 😉 Thanks!
That is video #4 coming in 2 weeks.
@@advfiberglass Awesome can't wait. Thanks!
I wish you were a little more honest instead of being more sales pitchy. The soft top and your hard top both have their pluses and minuses . It doesn’t have to be either or. My Bronco is set up for both with good reason. While you seem to blow the Oem hard top out of the water, your hard top and the soft top compliment each other. I know you’re trying to sell the top as the end all beat all but if you run the soft top for any length of time you’ll know that the combo is the best way to go. If you live in the north,6 months of hard and 6 months of soft top are the best way to go. Try to be a little more honest and a little less salesmanship. Thanks .
Appreciate your input! We are just pointing out the differences between both options.
How much is the hardtop? We have a soft top on order. Can you get a color matched hardtop?

Have you developed a solution for pre-Sept 2021 soft top customers that do not have the hard top prep kit preinstalled?
You can retrofit your bronco and install the necessary components secondary. There is a thread of this on Bronco6G
@@advfiberglass Cool, I will take a look. If you have a link, that would be awesome too 😄

So, I have a Jtops Bimini top designed to stay on with the OEM hardtop on. Would you expect that to be the same with this hard top?
Please send over a link and we will look into it.
@@advfiberglass I tried but it seems to keep deleting my links.
@@WILDcardPG Very odd, send it to sales@advfiberglass.com
What paint finish is the gray one?
Carbonized Grey with Xpel Stealth PPF
How hard are these to install? And are there certain dealers that can do the installation??
Very easy! Full install takes about 60-90 minutes from start to finish. Any aftermarket parts shop can tackle this install, it’s that easy.
Love my soft top. I love taking out the back windows and leaving the top on. Then my dogs just sit in the trunk and have a full 360 view when we all drive around. They hop out the car I put windows back. After you do it so many times it take me 3-5 minutes max. Yeah with the hardtop you can just pop the back window out for dogs but you don’t get the full 360 open look without the hassle of removing everything.
Plus with the hardtop when you take off the top you don’t get the full top open just the front driver seat, and the top pieces have to take up space in the trunk. There is no better seat in my opinion then in the back seat of the bronco with the top off. I even let my friends drive just so I could sit in the back seat lol. It’s just more convenient for me.
I would say if you are a person who likes the ability to have any portion mix and match of your bronco top off then go soft top for sure. But if you only plan to take the top off here and there or don’t really care for the flexibility of dropping the full top on the fly then get the hardtop.
How long is the wait to get your hardtop? Do you deliver?
We are ramping up on final assembly for past and new orders and are about 12 or so weeks out currently. Yes, we offer shipping as well.
@@AlexOCPMurphy Majority of hardtops start shipping end of July/Into August now that we have all materials and starting to ramp up on final assembly.
I’m so confused is this an after market hard top to change softtops into hard tops?
Yes this is our aftermarket hardtop. You can replace the soft top with our hardtop.
So I can get a soft top and order a hardtop through you??? Details?
We offer a hardtop but not a soft top.
I get it, You are trying to sell a product. However, I still have never scratched my roll bars while putting my soft top all the way back. Plus it really does look like you have purposely made this sot top look as shitty as possible from the start.
We did not intend to make the soft top look bad. We are simply showing what we have experienced with the soft top (along with many other customers of ours). However, we appreciate your input!
That's my Bronco with the soft top and hate to say it but it always looks that sh*tty haha. It's not horrible but I definitely prefer the hard top.
Marketing video
Hey. Is it fair to compare a soft top and hard top? They are two completely different items. You should have compared different hart tops available. Just saying.
We did compare our top to the OEM top. Check out the other videos we posted.
Man stop it, you need 2 people to take the full hard top of. And what person with sense leaves valuables in their car, and any car’s windows can be broken.
Sell your product with confidence without having to insult the product that 75% of bronco owners have and love. You invented problems with the softop that don’t exist. Be confident in your product without seeming petty
Sorry you feel that way. We were simply pointing out the differences but we appreciate your input!
Odd I’ve seen many complain about the window waves, and how it scratches the frame. Those are both pretty annoying.
I actually came here to say essentially the same thing. I have the soft top, and I don't have to yell to talk to my passengers. I don't have to turn the radio all the way up to hear it. I don't have near the trouble with my soft top that these guys imply. What it really reminded me of was an infomercial where they over-exaggerate the problems that people have so that their solution looks that much more appealing. I have the soft-top, I've had it for 7 months, and I'm really pretty happy with it all things considered. On a side note, I do have a hardtop on order, but not from these guys because I wanted that additional removable midpiece.
@@lray801 Anderson then?
@@lray801 At highway speeds of 75-80mph, you will 100% have to raise your voice to speak to your passengers in a softtop. We are not exaggerating anything. We are simply saying exactly how we feel about the hardtop (along with our other customers). We appreciate your input!
