Hello Rabeea, I accidentally stumbled upon your RUclips channel. But I'm glad I did. I must say the stuff you have been covering here is beneficial. I'm a lawyer from India and working on to immigrate to Canada. This particular video has helped me a lot. Once again, thanks for your guidance.
Great video. Very informative. I have a few questions for you if you could please try to address them in your upcoming videos. 1. Can we take the NCA before completing/starting our LLM? 2. The process of getting an articleship takes about a year, is that correct? Is it advisable to start applying for one as soon as the LLM program starts? 3. Can you please do a video on the process of NCA, articling/LPP and getting a job in Canada after LLM? Thank You Looking forward to your videos.
Hi Rabeea, thanks for your informative video. I am a solicitor in Scotland and have been looking into migrating and practicing in Canada - your videos have been useful!
hello, Mitchel. may I know a little more about Scotland's situation for foreign lawyers who seek to continue their profession in there? I have a master's in international law. and planning to become a corporate/business lawyer in Canada but I also would like to know more about other countries and the possibilities of being a corporate lawyer in those countries. thx in advance
i have been going through the podcasts my question is that the podcast were last updated on 2019 so is there a way to get the recent updates if there have been any? talking about the admin law podcast here. thank you for your help
An Applicant's assessment will be valid for a period of five (5) years from the date it is issued by the Executive Director. For more information please visit: flsc.ca/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/NCAPolicies5C.pdf
Hi Rabea. You are doing great job as your videos are very informative. I have multiple questions like one of them is which course content you prefer is more informative osgoodepd or Toronto School of Management.
Thank you so much. This is what I'm looking for. I had completed 5 year law degree from law school and whether any experience is needed to apply for NCA exam?
Yes, the exams can be written online now. I would still recommend checking the NCA website because they keep updating their exam writing procedures due to covid-19.
Hi Rebecca, can you please tell me the most comprehensive resources for the NCA exams, which can be considered as a one-stop solution to the NCA exams. I am starting to prepare and hence would like to know what books or notes would be best.. Thanks..
Sure! The NCA syllabus for each subject has all the details about the books and resources you should rely on. If you are looking to practice sample questions and answers you can check out my website: www.lawstudykit.com
Hi, I must say that, your all your videos are really helpful. I am currently a Lawyer in Sri Lanka and planing to immigrate to Canada. Can I know from where we can get to know the writing pattern for NCA exams and are there any answers available ?
@@RabeeaKhalidLawStudyKit thank you so much for replying. I have an LLB degree, offered by the University of London. So in that case, is it the university that have to give the recommendation to NCA along with my transcripts? I completed LLB in 2016 by the way.
Hi Rabeea. Thank you very much for your helpful videos! I have one question please, I’m studying for the foundation of Canadian law nca exam and I understand there are quite a lot of articles to read. Do you know where I can find these articles and how to download them? Thank you very much again :)
@@RabeeaKhalidLawStudyKit thank you very much. And where can I find the articles? Are they under core materials in the syllabus? Under supplemental materials? Under required readings? Thank you again and sorry for the disturbance
Great videos there, very helpful.. however, I'd like to understand when a memo is used or when does IRAC come into play.. are these formats Subject specific? As in, is it that IRAC is used for Consti while a memo for Foundation.. am I understanding it correctly?
Thank you for such kind words. You are only supposed to write a memo when the examiner asks you to write one. For instance, the question will say something like 'Write a memo on..' Lastly, IRAC method is used for fact based questions. For instance, if you look at Canadian Constitutional Law NCA sample exam most of the questions are fact based. Hope this helps! Happy to answer any more questions you might have.
Hello mam,i have completed my law graduation this year but i am not enrolled in Bar and now am looking forward to take NCA EXAM SO plz tell me that is it impt to show my practice year before attempting this nca or i can apply directly for assessment ... plz inform me this .... I already go through the NCA website and about this thing nothing is written ...
Hi - Where did you get your law degree from? Do you have a qualifying law degree? A qualifying law degree would allow you to practise law in the jurisdiction where you studied. Please take a look at this link: nca.legal/process/self-assessment/ Lastly, you can email the NCA for further information. From my experience, they usually respond fairly quick.

Thank you such kind words. Unfortunately, I haven't tried both of these schools for NCA preparation so I wouldn't be a good person to ask.
