Wait... english isnt my first language, but isnt that just slang for "that awesome!" ? I always used that as a positive exclamation regarding news.
Yeah, it can be used synonymously with positive exclamationns such as "that's awesome". However since it's a sensitive subject, saying "that's crazy" simply doesn't match the level of vulnerability that the other person showed and can come off like you don't care. I hope that helps. @@Letgoit2
