The vast majority of our time on set was us talking about wholesome things and joking and laughing because it’s been ten years since we dated and we’re well recovered (even the director said that we seemed like a good couple, showing we’re definitely okay with each other now), but Cut only really put in the big oof moments

if you end it and there's no abuse, yes there is so much pain, and it will make it harder to move on, but what if there's still love there in a deep way and you want to be there for each other and are still comforted by their presence? Plus it's not easy to find other living situations lol. In my situation it's really hard sometimes but there's still love there and we go to couple's therapy anyway and that helps mediate tension so much. anyway I still wouldn't recommend it lol, there is almost no way the heart break is even, even if it is a mutual break up, and you need to be okay with lots of communication and heavy conversations. Really only works with forgiveness, understanding and communication

I love cut videoes because I feel like it’s important to have conversations like this. Learning your flaws, seeing your growth, and having honest conversations about how someone impacted you. When one of the people said they realize now that one of the issues was lack of kissing helped lead to the end of the relationship but they never said anything about it. Little things like that are important and being able to be open about those little things you want more from can help strengthen relationships.
I also want everyone to remember that these couple dated in high school. They are not teenagers anymore and the mistakes they made were immature and selfish and that is okay because you are allowed to make mistakes growing up. It’s okay to admit you were a little toxic in your first more serious relationships. We don’t learn and grow by not acknowledging mistakes and no one is perfect - esp not hormonal teenagers. Everyone is hating on that one girl do cheating, she was a CHILD. She obviously made amends since she is so close to that same ex even today. Let’s not shame someone for a mistake that happened years prior.

We literally were in our first relationship together and we were both toxic, but have learned from our behaviors. we treat eachother very differently now and have moved past and worked through our issues as KIDS! This was over 5 years ago that our relationship ENDED. we are in a much better place in our lives/friendship. Thanks for trying to bring some much needed perspective to this- I appreciate it.

According to me, first couple was the definition of complicated relationship as they still talk, cuddle and are roommates. They never get over with each other.
They can say it publicly that they are not together anymore but deep down they also know they are not over with each other. And it's very toxic for their future relationship. They will not be able to give 100% to their future partner.
