I still work a full-time job but have 4 business endeavors with partners which I agree is extremely complex to manage. I see people trying to find the fastest way to profit, being business, career or poker and forgetting that it takes time and effort. man by reading your comment i can just say you most likely gonna loose it only because if you were able to beat the games you wont comment like this improve your game 😢😢
Start playing microstakes, don't play too high or you WILL loose it all, try to become a winner on micros, prove to yourself that you are a winning player and only start playing a higher stake once you've beaten the one before AND when you have the bankroll to do so, I would recommend having always a minimum of 200 buy-ins of whatever stake you're playing if you are playing tournaments.
The variance is insane, currently on a 500mtt downer, cannot win when allin, doesnt matter how strong my hand is, ive lost to 1 out or runnner runner more times then i can count. Running at about 25% in flips. Feels like ill never win again. If i wasn't beating cash games for 10bb in nlhe and 13bb in plo id be broke by now. My account has been break even since may. Ive played a ton of poker in my life. Millions of hands and never seen stuff like i see on GG. Ive lost to perfect perfect, quads, higher str8 with 95+% at least 20 times in this sample. According to prime dope its single digit run. Oh and i get it in with the best equity or proper odds almost every time. I know no one cares. But i have made millions at poker in the past and still a winner but these moments feel like it will never turn around.
@@rouhinarian4356 certainly feels personal at this point. But then how are players making millions in MTTs? Thanks for your inside. But for me personally is the mental game very interesting and a challange and I would love to hear your opinion on that. The amound of emotional stress that is envolved in poker (not because money scared, but because of hate losing and hate making mistakes is for me very high). And I tried a lot to fix it but it has not getting better. And stakes are not important. I feel similar frustration.
in sports, you need to know what to do, and be able to finish it well. In poker, you only need to know what to do. you dont need work on finishing in poker
Poker is a game with an edge for very good players, but you have to beat the rake and expenses. Not sure if it is comparable to starting a business or being an influencer. It is more comparable to financial businesses like day trading or investing in altcoins.
Volume. Volume. Volume. The main element of winning poker player is volume. Edges are fairly close in online poker at stakes that are worth the money.... Therefore volume is key. Just my opinion.
I didnt know you were trying to become a football pro that is pretty cool! But I think it is very hard to make money as a poker pro nowadays especially if you live in a country that has no rakeback
Does that country also happen to have much higher rake caps than elsewhere and maybe even extra rake? Then I might have an idea what that country is...
historically, the easiest way to accumulate wealth is to buy and hold stocks (crypto currency) or real estate. Always depending on what you can affort to lose. And you dont even have to be a smart person. Just like in poker - bankroll management is key. great video
The problem in those days it’s there are too much stuff on the internet like videos forums discord etc. and even at low stakes you have to study a lot to get better to other players because even the worst player in the world knows the range of open and 3 bet so I think in the future years will be so hard to make money even at low stakes.

Ben, it is possible to Grind it out in Germany with 7mtt tables on Stars and GG? Would you prefer MTTs or Cashgame. I do have a 2-3k Bankroll. Im slightly winning at both
If your living in Germany that I would recomend not to grind cash games, Germans are paying extra rake on regulated sites, like stars. My friend from Germany is paying twice as much rake as I do at NL50-100 on Stars. And in Germany u have to play higher cash game buyins and at GG 100+ are unbeatable due to the insane rake and if ur winning ur not getting any rakeback. You are better off playing MTTs in Germany. What you can do is to grind a bankroll at microstakes, 5-10 and maybe even 25. both Stars and GG are great for this.
Yep. Only the elite are consistently making more than $10K a month in online MTTs. And the guys making more, have to deal with 6 fig downswings like its nothing.
Love the sage advice, but the title is a little misleading imo. You talked more about making content (not necessarily even poker) and building a business/brand/online presence than actually answering the question in the title. Some people do just want to play and win without any "social presence" involved. Perhaps this is not an easy way to win? Again, love the advice, and there's nothing wrong with this approach (in fact it's probably the best way out there), but maybe the title should be re-framed to "Is it easy to be a poker entrepreneur?" or something of the like. Either way, thanks for the vid, poker players and non-poker players can learn a lot from this.
