Ah gives us also more back door equity if running into 2 pair. AT to go broke is a lot better than AA or KK since we block sets and 2 pairs. He will raise and go broke with KT QT as well and still a bunch of draws.
@@RaiseYourEdge Without running that spot I'd think it rlly depends on whether he has KT QT at non-zero frequency, because otherwise AT is a pure bluffcatcher . Hello Ben! I want to ask is the fold at 26min an exploitative fold or gto? Cuz I think you have the best possible hand you can have in this situation. Blocking KK as well. You sometimes have quads as well but still...
Opponent is generally taking big bet / check on this texture flop. Checking range is built around our Ax (that don’t need to bluff or bet for value), low pairs - 6x/9x (that want to keep the pot small and reach showdown), 78s that wants to take its equity. I would expect villain to bet most Qxd-Jxd on the flop as bluffs with back door potential and good blocker candidates. When we arrive at the river (when our opponent has taken a passive line). I expect to see river bet heavily weighted to 9x of which there are many with off suit variety. I’m interested in whether Hero should check range on this river? What do you think….
Seems like checking range is good option. We can’t really bluff the river for a big size because 9 is such an awful card. So, feels like we should be throwing in block bets and large percentage of checking. This way we avoid over folding (with our best possible hand) when taking this line
