I'm studying it online right now and a tip I have, if you can, is to make your notes as flashcards not just a list. This way you're creating an active revision resource while learning. I see no point personally converting a list of info in a textbook to another more messy less accurate list of info in your own book. just a technique which i have found to be effective and efficient. You will need a lot (and I mean a LOT) of paper for flashcards, however.

im so scared sis, i know i should put my trust in Allah but i really want to take a level bio, im a gcse student, my exams are in a month and im doing foundation combined science where the highest i can get is a grade 5, my teachers said i wasn’t capable of getting higher than a 5 as in my mocks i was getting 4’s. now with a month left till exams, i still wish i was doing higher tier science so that i could get above a 6 in order to take a level bio. this goes with a level chem as well. sadly, now i can’t, ive applied for applied science, psychology & sociology for sixth form in September but im worried i won’t enjoy applied science as i just really wish i could do a level bio and chem.
Haha no it’s okay , I was in ur position before! I started doing full papers around 2-3 weeks everyday before the exams . But, that’s because I used to do them before mocks aswell . My interview was in March but yours can be anywhere from December to March

Woah, you study at KCL and your doing medicine right, but you chose the a-levels bio, chem and psychology and you didnt do maths! Please please address this misconception to me that in order to go into the medicine route you don’t need to do a-levels maths and you can get away with psychology

Someone please tell me how you get 3.157x 10^3 um for this question: Fig. 17.2 is an image of a Kupffer cell from the liver. The diameter of the Kupffer cell in the image is 9.1 cm. Assuming it is spherical, calculate the actual volume of this cell. On the diagram there's scale : 4um

You don't need to do alevel maths to study medicine. It's compulsory to study chemistry and biology though.
