Hi sola, thank you so much for making this video - very helpful. Please do one for maths and chemistry. Also I would like to ask about your study schedule during alevels especially yr 12, how often would you do work and what time period did you start doing all these practices q. Thank you so much, love u!
11:01. How would you know that you hqve to talk about blood supply and gradient and not as example, large surface to volume area and short diffusion distance?
How achievable would it be to go from a grade E to an A or B following theses tips. And also how many hours do I need to put in a day to achieve this? thanks
About the specification, there is so much content on my revision guide that isn’t on the specification list, but I’m scared of not revising it and the content coming up in the exam, specially as my teachers taught it in class also.
Hi sola, i just wanna thank you and other youtubers for helping me from G1,2,3 in my first mocks to G9,9,9 in my last two mocks in science subjects. I also wanna ask if you know of any youtbers like cognito and freesciencelessons but they do alevel content, i'm in yr 11 and i don't wanna have to start looking later
@@user-kv8gt2kd1y Well i do watch videos on cognito for topics that are hard, i don't understand, i've just done or i am doing ahead of class and after that i use specification or cgp guides to see key points, then i do blurting and then physics and maths exam questions, i also do lots of past papers(i have tuturing with a tutor and all i ever really do is past papers 4 days a week 2hrs), exam season is also coming so i have simplified the specification by removing the irrelivant stuff or adding the stuff they say we need to know and i'm gonna make flashcards from it and i also do a lot of seneca and whenever it gets easy i set a challenge of always getting 100% and in general i always(most of the time) give 100% in class . Hope this helps :)
Heyy sola your videos are really amazing, just a quick question, should you do past papers in year 12 for your mocks as i’m in yr 12 at the moment and I don’t think i have covered all the content to do a past paper, as i’ve only covered about most of the 1st module and some of the 2nd one, and also could you do a video on alevel chemistry as well? Amazing video though, as i study alevel biology, chemistry and maths as it helps me study better. ❤️💕
also sorry sola, last thing, in terms of past paper questions could you please advise some websites such as i know like pmt does full past paper questions but how many should i do (from what years) and did you do any practise papers from a specific website please? thank you, also looking forward to watching this!!
I mostly used PMT as it pretty much collects all of the questions from the past few years. I recommend doing as many as you can! Start with the most recent years then work your way backwards as those questions are more likely to come up again. Do topic questions until you consistently get high scores in that topic. I only did the official exam board's past papers. Hope this helps
@@SmileWithSola thanks for your help, i just hope i have enough time to do them!! you are honestly so amazing i have no other way to thank you enough, you just earned a new subscriber!! :)
Hey, could you give me advice in revisions for Yr 13 biology chemistry and physics - I’m trying to plan intense revision from next week till the second week of February - for the mocks
hii can u help me out plzzzzzz????!!!!! . actuallly i'm new in as level cie, & quite dont know how many papers is there for cie as level exam. did find out that it has 3 paper [unless like edexcel biology which has 3 pprs on 3 units], ppr 1 MCQ, ppr 2 theory, ppr 3 practical. NOW THIS PRACTICAL IS KILLING ME!!!!! .. is the practical paper only writen or do i have to go to lab bcz i went thru the past paper & some of the questions seems like we need results from lab so what DO I DO?????????? cz im new in biology in cie
@@youremyaddiction3801 For AS level Biology there are 3 papers that u give, Paper1 (mcq), Paper2 (theory) and Paper 3 (practical) and this paper 3 practical that you give you do it in the lab and then you write your answers or whatever the question asks on the paper tho the invigilators dont look at your experiments they just check the papers and it's usually a given range but you do it in the lab the experiments for paper 3......This is for CIE... and if you're taking bio in A level too then you give only 2 papers which are paper 4(theory) and paper 5 (practical).. Hope this answers your question...!
Hi sola for gcses if you use pmt notes because they summarise the specification by making flashcards using just these notes, can you still get a 9? Or should u use the textbook as well because as you know there is some stuff we dont need to know in the textbooks.
hiii love ur content!! im starting my gcse next year but i want to prepare and start creating notes for each subject in advance, BUTTT what textbooks do u recommend for history & maths?? ANDDD what's the difference between foundation maths and higher maths, like how does it work??? THANK YOUUUUU 😍😍🫶
Hey, so if you go on your exam boards website and select the subject you are doing, there should be an option saying specification’ Basically this is a pdf with all of the content that is in your subject. If it’s not in the spec, it’s not in your exam :)
hi sola your videos are so inspiring to all of us, could you do one on a level maths if possible, also just quick advice, can i get grade 9 by doing corbettmaths 5 a day for gcses?
Thank you so much! I wouldn’t say corbettmaths 5 a day is sufficient to get a grade 9 as the questions are random and dont test your weaknesses. I would recommend doing as many past papers as you can!
Heyy. If you are struggling with alevels biology or igcse biology and chemistry. I can give you one on one classes and will privide you with notes . We'll do past paper practice during our study sessions . I conduct these classes online. If you are interested, please let me know, and i will guarantee you an A*
Im not struggling with the material, im just struggling with the tests part. (Multiple choice and short answer). Like I can know stuff from the back of my hand but the tests are just so hard to pass. The highest ive got on a test is a C without test corrections.
got an E in this recent mock man i was so gutted i didnt wanna read anymore. Academic comeback this yr tho Inshallah
it be like that sometimess... i got a D recently when i used to be a high achieving student💀🙏

Definitely going over content flashcards and question papers is enough tbf😭

read the book / notes that u have , and attempt past paper , correct ur past paper, and u will get A* concentrate in ur practical classes .
