    Good review. The Philharmonic is underrated in my view. I have never seen it counterfeited or faked. The design itself for both obverse and reverse are intricate and very detailed and come across as somewhat like security features already as these are difficult to copy. I like them. Cheers!

      I do agree, however Austrian Stacker had recently quite heavy quality issues with milk spotting on brand new Philharmonics. Until problems are solved im actually a bit careful with the quality atm. It was after this video was made.
      Apart from this i totally agree. the design is awesome, thank you so much for watching and reaching out!

      Yeah for some reason they look super big. Generally i love the look of these, and apparently the Robin Hood ones are now Philharmonics but a different series. But i love those, i can really recommend them. Will post an other video soon where i show one more from the same series. Sorry for such a late reply, i hope you dont mind. Its been a busy month, but i appreciate so much for watching and i hope to see you soon! Take care!

    Great coins my friend. The Robin Hood coin is an interesting alternative to the Philharmonic. I guess you ordered the coins before the crazy price jump. 😉

    • @europeanstacker8781
      @europeanstacker8781  4 года назад +1

      Thanks a lot! 😊 It is indeed. I was very surprised because when I bought them, they were the same price as the Philarmonics, around 19 Euro. Now these coins are 35 Euro and Philarmonics around 25 Eur. Crazy times. Do you have any of the 825 versions yourself? 😊

    • @AustrianStacker
      @AustrianStacker 4 года назад +1

      European Stacker No I don’t have any. At the time when I placed my last order Philharmonics were the cheapest coins. I just collect a very few special coins. I usually stack whatever I get cheap. My last orders: Philharmonics, Maples, Britannias, Owls. My only strategy is „Buy cheap!“ 😆 If you got them for €19 you made a great deal. 👍

    • @europeanstacker8781
      @europeanstacker8781  4 года назад +1

      @Austrian Stacker Thanks, yeah i miss those pre-20 Euro times now. I used to hate buying at 19 😂 do you collect some "junk" silver now when prices are crazy? I got some silver for 20% under spot which is crazy. I got the impression you have some cool Austrian older coins with pretty low premiums.

    • @AustrianStacker
      @AustrianStacker 4 года назад

      European Stacker I stack Maria Theresa Thalers, 25 Schilling coins and 50 Schilling coins. 😉 But they are more expensive in Austria than in other countries. Since people found out that the Euro is crap they started buying our „real“ money for crazy prices. 🤦🏻‍♂️

    • @europeanstacker8781
      @europeanstacker8781  4 года назад

      @Austrian Stacker Haha, thats a pity, but still some good news that people realised this 😀 I will message you around a few cool coins to stack cheap if you are interested? I dont have them myself yet but i just bought them.

  • @ujku6984
    @ujku6984 4 года назад +1

    Interesting. I just looked at the silver coins and was very surprise that while the spot price is around 20€ the coins are sold for almost 30€. A premium of 50% over spot. Is bloody expensive compared to the maple or Liberty or others. Why is that ?

    • @europeanstacker8781
      @europeanstacker8781  4 года назад

      Yeah it's indeed expensive. We have sales tax VAT in Europe on silver, this is part of the explanation. If you look at other bullion dealers the price for maples these days is close to 25€ or more. But I agree 30 is very pricey right now, not sure why they sell those with such a premium these days 🤔 thanks for watching buddy

    • @AustrianStacker
      @AustrianStacker 4 года назад

      ujku They sell it for such a price because people are buying it for that price. I talked to Austrian Mint‘s customer service. They told me that they produce in 2 shifts and that they have nothing in stock. Supply and demand...

    Hi there European Stacker. Excellent review. I am new to gold. Bought some 1/4 oz today from Münze Österreich. Next time I will be buying from a different mint. Perhaps I will go for Britannia coins from the Royal Mint. Do you have some other mint reviews or are you planning some? What do you think of Gold 2.0 (digital gold) Bitcoin? Thank you

    • @europeanstacker8781
      @europeanstacker8781  3 года назад

      Thanks a lot for your kind comment! Did you like the coin you got and just wanna try out something different? I planned to make a review of every larger mint but it will take some time 😊 My view on bitcoin is a bit divided. I dont have anything against it. In a modern era i think it fills some purpose. The main issue is that it can (and probably will) be regulated by governments. Its not faster than bank transfers. Its more expensive than other systems. Sure its safe and it provides privacy, but a lot of solutions do. Besides, like anything else that is digital you can create more. Maybe not today but at one point. I would never compare it to gold, becasue gold has a real value. You can hold it in your hand. Its real. Its used in the industry, it fills a function. And you cant create more than is on the earth today. So thats my take on it. I believe right now its not a horrible investment. Its just has no real underlying value or function to me. Thanks for watching my friend 💙

      @@europeanstacker8781 I respect your opinion but the "rules" of BTC can be changed only if great majority of miners (and i think, there are also nodes and maybe something else) agree with it. In my opinion, it doesn't make sense, becouse the main advantage of BTC would be dead and the price would go down so much, so who would profit. But I agree, everything is possible. We should still respect gold.

      @@ondracermak277 Yeah i agree with you. I dont deny bitcoins. I just really started to fall back to physical investments. Things i can touch with my bare hands. Even silver price and gold price is dependent on stock options and paper assets, so i agree bitcoin is not less secure by definition. I will def learn more about it. Thank you my friend for making me keeping an open mind here :)
